Someone on discogs had to dump a whole bunch of stuff, splurged big and filled in the gaps in this series. I had a little over half already so I was happy to finish it up...now to the rest of this labels vinyl offerings
I have been in this business a long time. Now if I don't want to do a show, it's not because I got stage fright. It's because some creature from beyond doesn't want me to do the show. Now gangway.
Found this at a local car boot, score to the film '30 is a dangerous age, cynthia'. Mainly easy/pop jazz sounds with some more symphonic moments, features barbara moore on a couple of tracks. Nice little record.
Some beautiful records amongst this lot. One question though about the Splash Band record. I love the versions on here but am intrigued by Unheimliche Schattenlichter. Is this a John Carpenter track originally? Translates as Twilight Zone but I am unaware of any John Carpenter Twilight Zone music. My knowledge on the subject is not great though. Anyone have a clue?
I adore Dudley Moore! And this is a great soundtrack - such a shame that the "Rupert's Romp" jazz number was left off the LP, have tried my damndest to find it but to no avail
@disco, so glad I had a hand in introducing you to The Wizard of Oz. IMO it is, without doubt, Meco's finest!! I adore it!! As you brits like to say, Brilliant!
