@fanboy - that sounds very cool, but $54 USD to get 8 songs on vinyl? Ouch! That is pretty pricey. Doesn't the Swedish govt give lots and lots of money to the arts if the musicians apply for it? I seem to remember an interview from a couple of years back with The Knife where they talked about they applied for some kind of grant or something along those lines, and received a lot of money to produce their first few albums and their studio. Perhaps I am remembering incorrectly - but if that is still true, why wouldn't these guys just do that and sell the music at a more affordable price?

I received that "Valhalla Rising" today. Haven't spun it yet, but it looks very nice, though it's been awhile since I've last seen a double vinyl release that is not a gatefold (meaning a little ring wear was unfortunately already visible).

Yes, the pictures come from a topic on Vinyl Collective (here). Someone asked if people would be interested by a Breaking Bad LP release and some dude did these simulations.
