Probably the only time I've been genuinely conflicted about opening something, they're still sealed

10T5 I didn't know there was a CD set! Maybe they'll do a vinyl issue sometime

I heart records!

Another I marc 4 ticked off the list.

That nausicaa lp is a killer. It is orchestral in places as oiche mentioned but also a lot of synth work too, this is the music used in the film basically. Highly recommended. There are alot of nausicaa related records out there, easy to get confused.

The one with the robots is crazy 80 electro j pop, very infectious. Awesome stuff from ows as usual and not played the sonor wax yet but have been spinning the mp3s.

The Umiliani is Tensione, the Gemelli is Nicolai's Espressioni, and the Sermi is a record called Baroque Jazz by Alessandroni, Tamponi and Pes

Nice grab on the I Marc 4!

Had some free time in the middle of work and dropped by one of the local shops. Filled in a couple gaps, along with Sunn O))) - Black One on 2LP. Going to be a fun night.

In this glorious time where the worst and the best can see the light of a vinyl (re)issue, we can truly believe in it! Hope is the mankind's drug!

Already a big week -

Really like this score. Thanks to the Nick1972 who gave the heads up on availability of this from Juno.

At last! Just one of those LPs that I never quite got round to. It's top synth-tickle indeed!

A real mixed bag musically - something for everyone! The jazzy stuff on Side A doesn't get me too
excited, but Side B is crammed with goodness.

Thanks again to @popsick for being such a mensch. This is pretty dense stuff, will need repeated
listens for sure. Beautifully put together, great idea to use the original film poster IMO.

One of my all-time favourite movies/scores. Boom. (Or, 'Boom Stick' if you prefer...)

Big thanks to Jon from Tiger Lab for pointing me in this direction. And it happened to be on wax too,
awesome!

Spinning and spinning and spinning......

A huge week of back order deliveries of a mainly Italian flavour. Suspense LP features a tale of horror 'Fugue In C Minor' starring a young Vincent Price recorded in 1942 - The cover alone was worth the purchase!

Nice picks @disco. I also had to check out Drokk after hearing it on the last DFP.

Cool selections @disco and @oiche

Have all of Disco's, save for the Fury OST (loved his Gravity score, but thought this sounded possibly a little intense as a standalone listen?)...and none of Oiche's (love both the Suspense and La Ragazza covers...) ;)

I'll chime in with a couple of 80's German presses picked up in Hamburg the week before last (via the bricks 'n' mortar version of rekord.net)

That cover Post-It is wrong, is it not....?

"...of queen"... oh boy. hopefully that was a joke on the record store's part.

Poor Brian must have had a lifetime dealing with that!
@spun - like das Deustcher issues! Isn't it odd that they called EFNY 'The Rattlesnake', even though on the cover Snake clearly has a cobra tattoo. :)

Was both amused and dismayed by the 'of Queen..' sticker

...On top of that, here's the past month's worth of recent release purchases - am nicking the 'staircase of shame' idea from a fellow forum member (Cult?)

Funny, in my head felt like I had passed up a few titles recently, but putting this haul together tells a different story. Ma Spaventi and Rival Consoles (love the name) a good listen for anyone who likes moody electronica that also throws in a bit of a tune.

Hey @layne, yes mate - a few of us UK STBC'ers were sorted out by a couple of guys who attended the event. Bless them! I think you'll like it, keep your eyes peeled for it going to retail.
