Blargh! I have the first Silva release. Ordered the Zavvi, put my black copy on Discogs, saw this, canceled the Zavvi and was going to order the LITA color-in-color since it looks cooler and is $12 cheaper. Then I had an existential crisis about my whole collection-- why, what am I doing, am I insane, will I even listen to the T2 more than once or twice, yadda yadda yadda.

@texas I hear you... i thought about buying T2...listened to it online and realized while I like the music in the film, I would never listen to it as it doesn't work for me as a standalone.

@texas - My head hurts just reading that. It's not a tumor though.

@texas Must be the weather, I just bought my third copy of Jurassic Park, one Amber one Dinosaur DNA and now a Dilophosaurus. I can only play one at a time right!? What the hell am I doing.

Ah, don't beat yourselves up about it. Variants are fun. Colored vinyl is an art form, even if it doesn't sound as good as black vinyl. At least you guys actually listen to your vinyl on the regular. There are plenty of hipsters out there buying vinyl who don't even own a record player.

Guys, it's the reissue we've waited years to get, a real holy grail. The Big Chill. Yes, you can find this 6x platinum radio hits compilation in the dollar bin of any respectable retailer and probably in your parents garage, but this is a chance to spend €25.99 instead! On red vinyl, which symbolizes the lack of Kevin Costner's face in the film.

@texas, thanks for the heads up! A holy grail for sure. Can't wait to spin "A whiter shade of pale" at home...

Woah woah woah! Not that I think this needs a reissue at all, because it's easily available for a few bucks, and while I don't usually go for song comps, the two big chill soundtracks are some of the best compilations ever put together.

Knock the reissue for sure, but take it easy on content :)

Tron is gone now. I wonder if they were more form the original pressing. I haven't heard anything about a repress and didn't see them for sale anywhere else.

I don't even think the guys on Vinyl Collective knew about them since there is no posts about it.

@Phantom let me know when your copy arrives what the deal is.

Forever haunted and teased by Tron Legacy.
I am gonna drop stupid money on it eventually, and the repress will come forth swiftly.

Re: Tron Legacy

Very strange. The release date was listed as August 21st, 2015, which does not make sense for found warehouse stock. I still suspect a forthcoming repress in this case.

Hey @Walter - what's this like? I'm interested in the film, I remember seeing a documentary years ago about this "true" story...I hear the music's pretty varied?
