@Hatter313 - Pre-release copies were available from @Spencer at the Strange Colors screening last week. It's also for sale at Comic-con directly from @Tigerlab. Subber copies should be going out soon.

I had to pick up this Contempo repress. Their embossed PVC plastic outer sleeves are a bit much *toss* (Did MoV get rid of those yet?) Anyway, happy to have this on vinyl. I would love an original on CAM if I had 500 extra euro for such treasures. :)

Big mail day!

Massive props to Waxwork-- Nightbreed is fucking awesome!! This will surely be on many "best of 2015" lists; it is just a phenomenal release. A Danny Elfman score to a Clive Barker film on a pretty colourway housed in a gorgeous heavy tip-on sleeve with art by Rich Kelly. What else is there to say?

A wag of the finger to We Release Whatever The Fuck Records. I should have known better after the mediocre effort for the Tra Scienza Umiliani reissue, but dumbass me was suckered into the special edition. It is just the regular release with a "poster" and a "puzzle." I use the quote marks because the poster is printed on thin newspaper, and the puzzle is a blurry picture of a pinup printed on generic (ie interchangeable) puzzle pieces. And the packaging was total shit, so the disc is slightly warped and the jacket is pretty banged up. And for €40 before shipping! What a rip off. I think it doesn't matter what they dig up next... Got fooled twice, and like George Bush says, "fool me twice, heh heh, uhh, you can't fool me again." They should change the label name to "We don't care what the fuck we release"

An ambivalent shrug to The Vinyl Factory. The Jean-Michel Jarre singles arrived. I like the singles, but the sleeves could be wider and a tad bigger, and they should have at least come with paper inner sleeves. Good music but lacking the kind of lavish physical treatment that Vinyl Factory has a reputation for.

And check out this box I got today from a guy on Reddit/r/vinylcollectors. Good thing he included this scrap of bubble wrap! Seriously, the scrap was the only thing in the box besides the record! Also it is not even the right record. Smoke more weed, dude...

@texas - The most exciting thing in that photo is the tease shot of the Waxwork "ripper" logo. Sticker?

yes, very cool they look like this

sorry for the boring picture! I thought the tiny scrap of bubble wrap in the giant box was hilariously perplexing.

Here's a bonus pic of the pinup puzzle, because boobs

Yesterday, I got a few amazing packages in and some great records came into my shop. First off was a large package from Japan. Japanese pressings to some of my favorite movies and each one was insanely cheap.

In that package I also got these flexi discs that came with a Japanese video game magazine in the 80's called BEEP!
Each one contains music from different companies like Sega, Konami, Capcom and Taito. Plus there is a 7" for the game Star Soldier that has some arranged versions of the music from the game. I've got some more Japanese video game records coming in the next few weeks.

Additionally, I also got in a copy of the Battletoads soundtrack released at SDCC. I have a second one coming that may be up for trades in the near future. Also, I finally got the Halloween III flexi for a reasonable price. I love that movie so much and have wanted this since it was released.

Then these records came into my work yesterday, which couldn't be any more different from each other.

Finally, was this package of Nickelodeon music. Might not be everyone's cup of tea, but I love all the shows and it's a blast listening to these songs. Plus it was a nice surprise hearing a Toasters song used as the Nick Video intro, which I had forgotten about.

Two more Alessandroni's just to continue the obsession. He and Umiliani have cost me dear in recent times.
