Thanks guys, I appreciate the cleaning suggestions. Im going to call my local brick and mortar and see if he's got a machine. Gotta by places in NY I can find if not. Otherwise I'll give Texas' cleaning solution a shot.
I guess I was off the mark about the grading, I hadn't thought good+ would be so noisy, but from Texas' and static's replies it appears I may be off in my thinking. I assumed a fair amount of noise from an opened record this old, I was just a little shocked at how noisy it was. I'll give it a good cleaning and I'm sure it will be fine. I don't mind a bit of crackle on an older album as long as I can hear the music clearly most of the time.

I have been in this business a long time. Now if I don't want to do a show, it's not because I got stage fright. It's because some creature from beyond doesn't want me to do the show. Now gangway.
