Enjoying this excellent collaboration, and I am hoping that there is more to come. Thick with layers of instrumentation, as well as lovely wordless vocals and flute set against wailing axes, this effort seems to show both the band, Anima Morte, and Frizzi building a beautiful piece of music together. Haunting, melancholy vibes, but with the uplifting Frizzi touch especially with the addition of the electric guitar. Excellent, although it almost feels like a tease! Play this one at 45rpm.

The two most recent vinyl pick ups chez moi... couple of vintage finds!

The Psycho is in pretty good nick, the Carpenter arrived covered in fluff & a couple of dried liquid splats on the disc. Can't stretch to an OkI Noki.... but I wonder if anyone here has experience of those vinyl 'wipes' I've seen (a bit like hand wipes that come in a packet)?

I have not used any wipes, Spun, so I'm afraid I won't be any help there. I have never seen that Music of JC LP before. What's the story there?

The Carpenter is German disco versions of the 'hits'... quite fun! Sure @ScoJo has posted a copy round these parts before (?)

PS - What on Earth is the "sound-version"? Hahaha! Is that a more traditional cover version of the original or is it some sort of sound collage made up of real-world noises like barking dogs, car horns, and pots and pans?

The rather lovely smorgasbord I've picked up over the last couple o weeks.

Joe Hisaishi - Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind, symphonic suite (yes two copies :D)

Joe Hisaishi - Laputa, Castle In The Sky OST (this is different to the score for the English dub, which I don't believe has had a vinyl release) the Japanese dub's score is more synthy in places.

Taeko Ohnuki - grey skies/sunshower (2 albums in one. Am early eighties reissue, and sounds great!) Japanese city Soul Jazz funk perfection.

GITS! This deluxe issue is well worth the extra pennies the additional booklet is not some thoughtless flimsy freebie, a great read. Sounds wonderful too!

Eric Feremens - The Antwerp Killer OST. Grabbed this In the finders keepers sale, which is still running, for an amazing £8. Brilliant b movie slasher synth.

Maria Teresa Luciano - Sounds of the City. Not in the sale but a new release from finders keepers. Fans of weird Italian library music, you need this!! I think it's unreleased material but I may be wrong, not read the liner notes yet.

The Luciani is a reissue. Original on Fama is a really hard one to find. Basically sounds like when you get really good and stoned and play with a delay effects pedal.
