the best track is probably "skinny dip":



plus a really beautiful chilled out track 'jade pavilion' with edda-like vocals and almost a frizzi vibe



there's easy stuff like "Insiders":



plus a couple of disco funk tracks. I'd recommend it if you ever see a cheap one.

currently listening to some Timing albums. the first one is really the perfect Timing for me and maybe my favourite one. classic Giordano head nodders all the way through. just lovely...

i have only about four from the Timing catalogue. which other one's are worthwhile? anyone?

I had vol 6 and 7, they both had their moments but nothing really amazing, the quirky side of me really dug vol 7, but I no longer own either so that also says something.
I was always under the impression 1,2 and 3 were the ones that commanded the Dollars, never actually heard them in their intirerity. I was not overly impressed with the mastering/engineering on vol6.

What I did love about the series is it seems to connect two worlds of the French Psychedelic library scene B. Kaufman who was involved with those trippy 'CHA' chappell releases and Jacky Giordano and his 'freesound'.
For example Johanna Group have a release on timing and on CHA chappell.

@Dollar: have checked and i own 1, 3 and 6 only. i quite like them all. #3 has some Pierre Devevey compositions like this one that i really dig:



never noticed the connection between Timing and Chappell but i love these links. and i love to seek artists and pseudonyms that appear over different releases or even different labels. it's like being a fan of something that never officially existed, haha!

Will definitely check this later, it's been a long time since I owned my timing lps. From timing no7 they seem to be a sub label to dewolfe. I'm guessing this is how J Giordano ended up on dewolfe also.

lucky 7 is one very fine bass related library record with a fuzzy touch. actually the best that i know of. solid listen!

@Jimmy - I have the Schema pressing, and it's enough to get me through the night. I have also heard the GP pressing is terrible, and has an audible record skip/scratch from whatever source they used. I have lost many auctions for Conroy and Top Tape pressings.

very good title composed by Enzo Minuti. easy themes for the soul on one of my favourite italian labels. so many hidden jewels in there...

my theory is that the label has started with the red sleeve series (MS-1 to MS-11) in the late 60s and has noticed the international potential library records had. the describtions and most song titles on the red sleeves are in italian switching to english from the first green release (MS 101).

I'm sure many of you just received the email I just did but if you didn't, Cinedelic is selling some excellent looking OGs.http://www.cinedelic.com/en/vintage.html?start=20 I've been dying to know what Maria Teresa Luciani's Barocco 2000 sounds like as I have a feeling it could be a new personal favorite, but i'm gun shy about the price and the gamble. Sure enough, they've got one listed, and I've had better success with Cinedelic shipping over other Italian shipments. Big question is-does anyone have this digitally or can they describe/give me the push in the right direction? I won't be sad if it disappears from the store before I get an answer, but I'm just really hoping someone can give me the confirmation that I should be as hyped for this album as I am. Thanks in advance and I will try to post a photo of some listening asap.

Unfortunately, I've never even seen files for this floating around. That isn't to say they don't exist; just that I've never seen or heard of them myself. I got that email this AM and there are some pretty tempting bits in there.
