Death Waltz doesn't do pre-orders anymore, people already have copies of Lizard in hand, which was announced a week ago.

I really have no idea what your gripe is here ?

DW is still the same , we just signed 20 of the rarest Italian soundtracks ever, just released Andrew Liles and dropped our last 3 releases when they were ready so no pre orders ...
The CH release will be great for everyone , stores will get it via our distributors and we'll do our usual bells and whistles release. Through our respective websites.
Ironically if we had put it on sale today it would have been a pre order and not out until December ...

Really hoping 'the new barbarians' will be next up in the sub.

Any chance the new DW Halloween mix on Soundcloud for Fact mag will be made available to download?

Understand there's a 2nd one coming for Guardian online as well?

Be great to get downloads of both.

Just need a 'download' button on Soundcloud basically. :)

"we just signed 20 of the rarest Italian soundtracks ever"

Fuck yes. Things like THIS are why I will never write a 13-page negative rant about Death Waltz.

20 rarest soundtracks? Shall I just sign over the deeds of my house now? :-)
Wife is going to kill me.

Oh dear, I wasn't drinking at all. I wish I could delete that post.

I am so glad to hear the news though.

'Rare' does not neccesarily equal 'good'. Looking forward to hearing more info though.

One quick question for Spencer before he rides off:

With the Mondo/DW partnership, are there any plans to do subs for those of us in N. America to help cut down on the shipping costs? I would definitely buy a back to black sub and probably a full sub if so.

Both DW Halloween mixes available to download tomorrow - good stuff!

In the meantime there's this to puzzle over...

"We'll be annoucing our two final releases of 2014 next week. Both Christmas films and both featuring KILLER santa vibes"

Any guesses...? ;)

Has anyone noticed that if you look at the Halloween II cover slightly differently it looks like a woman with a face on her tongue. Was this intentional or just a coincidence?
Hmm Silent Night, Deadly Night? Rare Exports?
Rare Experts would be swell. Black Christmas (1974) hasn't had a release that I'm aware of. Not Santa per se, but I know folks who'd be excited for that.

Yeah Black Christmas came to mind too. Would be all over that. They could package it in a dry cleaning bag ala Looper :p

BLACK CHRISTMAS is one of my favorites. I watch it every Xmas night & it'd make an awesome LP if the piano smashing and prank calls are included. Incidentally, there's a 'homemade' soundtrack site that did make a soundtrack for B.C. that's pretty fun to listen to. The site is called The Cottage of Electric Hell.

Does anyone remembering reading about the possibility of a pic LP for "Thriller: A Cruel Picture" around the time Synapse released the dvd? It was cancelled but it'd be amazing if a DW could get that going! I do a download of the music on my pc. Very cool industrial-like electronic sounds.
