Going off on a tangent from another thread, I'm sure we've all got one or two of these where the film was a bit stinky but the music was great. To be honest, I'm one of those who found Room 237 to be really annoying (albeit in a strangely entertaining way) but the soundtrack is awesome.
Other guilty pleasures include:
Judgement Night - Whoever came up with the idea for this ST was an absolute genius. Whoever scripted the film (which does show so much promise, which probably makes it even worse for being so), eh, not really.
Spawn - As above, but slightly less so. Parts of OST a bit ropey, but Slayer/Atari Teenage Riot? Yes please! Film has long since been bleached out of my consciousness in the same way that I'm attempting with The Wicker Tree.
Less Than Zero - Might be wrong in thinking that this gave the world the Bangles doing Hazy Shade Of Winter (or the other way around), but it also has Glenn Danzig's finest vocal performance, and Roy Orbison doing a track that the Tiny Prince Of Darkness wrote for him. Film wasn't awful, but "of it's time" (ie, shoulderpads and big hair)
