All time top ten? That's some bona fides right there folks - listen hard!
Yeah, I wondered if I should make that statement, but after a modest amount of consideration at 0300 or thereabouts, I decided to greenlight myself. If I sat down and did the hard work, he might fall just outside that range, but he might not. Walker is one of the great musical talents of our time, I think, and a pretty fascinating story as well. It's great to see his genius appreciated even though he is still very firmly an outsider. He's ratcheted up his output lately by lapping his usual one release every decade pace. A few collaborations, a few completely original works, all excellent, all worth hearing. The Childhood of a Leader score is no exception. But I'm just some guy who loves Alien 4 so what do you want outta me?

You know, they weren't cheap here either. I know next to nothing about the label, but I always assumed they were from outside North America.
There's a big difference between winging it and seeing what happens. Now let's go see what happens.
