Also got the split version today, looks really cool.

I think the split color is the first of its kind, but there are other records that are even heavier, 210 grams I've seen .

I have a Modern Lovers record that is pressed on 220 grams. Munster put it out in the early 00's.

Flippers gonna flip, sadly.

On the plus side, whatever mine looks like, it left New Orleans Airport 2 days ago. I can't wait to find out where it turns up :)

it costed me 100$ for 2 copies, shipping was quite expensive, but I tried for a limited edition and didn't wait for the record to be available on amazon.

I'm waiting on them, I'm pretty sure it won't arrive before next week though

Did you guys get shipping confirmation? I have moved since the preorder and I'm wondering if my package is at my old place already.

Also just received my double sided variant. Kevin keeps making each release more stunning than the previous one. I kind of can't control myself with the ideas of the Creepshow and F13 reissues!

I received my package today. I ended up with a clear copy which looks really good. Pretty sure I got my order through about 7 minutes after the initial twitter link was posted for those keeping score. The overall packaging is outstanding also. Score one satisfied customer for Waxwork!

I received my copy today, looks amazing. I received the black with maroon burst...so freakin cool! I'll admit, I'm very interested in tracking down the double sided edition though as well. If anyone has one to trade....I do believe I have a second copy of the Mondo Halloween splatter variant coming my way!

My Rosemary's Baby arrived today, got the double sided variant.

I must say this really is one of the very best of all the recent reissue packages - the record itself, the artwork, the texturing on the sleeve, the labels on the record and the sleevenotes are very well executed.

Definitely worth the somewhat premium pricing. Looking forward to seeing what else waxwork has in store for us this year.

Don't be fooled by the sticker...they read Clear Vinyl but I did get the 200g Burgundy / Blue

This seems to have no bleed through and the edge is a crisp 50/50 all the way around with no overlap

Another amazing package from Waxwork!!! Kudos!!!

I got the Burgundy/Blue as well today. It looks exactly like hncreature's copy, no bleed through. Looks damn good, can't wait to spin it tonight.

It's only £17.03 on Amazon UK with free shipping so I just ordered from there, I don't mind waiting till stock comes in. Lots of other UK stores have it just now and are shipping but they are at the high £20s and some over £30 so no point paying those prices when Amazon can give me the same thing for less.

I've been spinning this the last couple of hours, and I like everything about it.

As mentioned, I got the Burgundy/Blue, and the sound is very crisp - no pops and very little surface noise. Obviously, the music is great - jazzy and chillin'. I hadn't realized (from the movie) that Mia Farrow supplies the "lalala" to the main theme...

The liner notes are informative, but I especially like Jay Shaw's notes on the artwork. He points out elements of the art that I wouldn't have otherwise noticed or appreciated. A 10/10.

Crazybeats: regarding Amazon - I wouldn't believe it tbh. They listed Waxworks' Reanimator/Day of the Dead months before the street dates, and even once they were readily available in UK stores they still didn't seem actually physically stocked/available to ship (alarm bells should ring when it states "usually ships within 1 to 3 weeks...)|I believe (and may be wrong) that a lot of the boutique label/limited stuff just gets listed on there as a matter of course, probably by a bot, whether they're actually gonna stock it or not....

So happens that at that time I'd decided to consciously avoid Amazon anyway (they suck on so many levels) and instead really actively support my few remaining local physical indie stores. They may have to charge a few quid more, but in reality (since you're not paying postage) it's actually pretty close in terms of price. Plus, no hassles with post/missed deliveries/damaged goods etc. I'm a born again store-guy! ;)
