Not all, I got Alla Conquista dell Arkansas for $8, yoink. I also picked up the Così come sei OG and that Morricone French disco LP, haha. Nice scoop on the Love Birds, @texas.

I did not realize that NY Ripper was so sought after. I thought cool, this might be a fun one to get, placed an initial bid to remind myself that I was interested and then when I got the 1 hour warning from ebay saying it was currently at $125 I was blown away.

Yeah, the sealed copies of these vintage horror LP's are just not a good thing to chase, especially on the 'bay. Horror collectors with deep pockets seem to go apeshit for these, and I believe a lot of them just keep them sealed. For people who actually want to open them up and listen to the vinyl, it's actually more of a risk as the vinyl condition is unknown (not "mint"!). That is the most I have ever seen the Ripper sell for, but the average sale price on discogs is $188 USD. Such a funky and breezy album. I feel it does not get enough love. I also recommend the expanded CD album on Beat Records.

It's not rare or anything. Oh well. I overpaid for the Nicolai CAM record. Worth it for the Edda loveliness. Can't wait to get it.
I got two VS releases I've had my eye on for a while now for a reasonable price. Wanted several more but kept myself from going crazy. I had to have money for one of the leftover Unsolved Mysteries triple LP.

get_importcds on ebay is having a 20% off $60+ right now. I snagged a copy of Waxworks Salem's Lot and Data Discs After Burner 2 for a total of $55 w/free shipping which is a steal. Both at $27.50 a piece which regularly you would have to pay around $40 per record w/ shipping.

They have over 1000 soundtrack LPs for sale, tons of excellent stuff. I could easily spend way more if I wasn't trying to budget. Some of the stuff the prices seem a bit high while others are way lower than every one else. No rhyme or reason to it.

Love that seller. Even better when eBay is doing a sale too and stack the discounts.

Recently stumbled on a listing for Haunted Summer by Christopher Young on Amazon. I bought it for a very reasonable £12.62 delivered from a marketplace seller (all your music). Assumed it was a reissue, though I hadn't heard that it was getting one.

Received it at weekend and, correct me if I'm wrong, but this looks to be a sealed original (the barcode is on the shrink wrap). Opened it up and it is stone cold mint. Bargain!

Available on both amazon uk and us from different sellers and direct from amazon. Curious...

Bonkers! I saw that and assumed re-issue too...there was also a listing for his U-Boats score too (so am now guessing that's sealed OG stock too!)

Good spot ScoJo, might have to pick that one up too!

I can't vouch for what amazon and other sellers have, but I can't find any info on a reissue so what else could they be? Weird!

I've seen this and U-Boats both listed at 2HD for about a month now. Juno Uk also has them listed. They are showing on the market so I'm pretty sure they are re-issues. But, that is a great price for a re-issue.

Did some more snooping on Haunted Summer and U Boat and came across this

Haunted Summer

Haunted Summer is on the 1st page, U Boats on page 2. It says they are limited editions of 150 copies. Don't know how accurate that is but....$15 for a limeted is pretty sweet! I'd go for it but have 2 copies of the original already. One still sealed. :)

One of my top Christopher Young scores. Hope you guys love it as much as I do.

kind of hope that if someone is licensing this that the vinyl/blu ray thing happens again, I've never actually been able to see this movie.

I received my copy from Amazon yesterday. Even though this is a reissue you could pass it off as a sealed OG copy. The plastic feels super cheap (like the kind you find on old records that some one just cut the edge and left on), it's smells kind of musty and the jacket has no new date on it that I can find, they didn't change the art or text at all, this is a direct copy of the original (as far as I can tell). I wish more LP's were priced at $15. It's a beautiful score. I only got through it once last night but it's going back on when I get home today.

I do still wonder whether this is OG dead stock you know- 150 is a very odd low number for a reissue (but not an unthinkable 'warehouse find' amount...) Hmm...

The weird thing is that it’s Haunted Summer and U-Boats which have had a long history of sealed copies showing up every few years.

My copies I grabbed maybe five years ago or so, and an ebay seller at the time was selling them as a bundle and had over 100 copies of each.

Seems like a warehouse find being labelled as “NEW” so they can be sold on amazon (and not the market place) by someone who found a stash of sealed copies.

Now that I think about it, pretty sure my haunted summer was sealed as well off discogs a few years back...must have been a lot of these floating around.

It might very well be old stock. I'm just glad it's getting the appreciation it deserves. I'll add as a FYI that ebay seller @static mentioned still puts them up as a bundle from time to time on ebay and if I'm not mistaken there's a bundle up now. :)
