It's all going on this morning - my Only Lovers Left Alive arrived - lovely and I'm gobsmacked I got it for £10.40. Also Teeth Of The Sea "Master" on orange vinyl and the Dance Of The Vampires soundtrack as well.

I can highly recommend the Teeth Of The Sea album, a massive sounding and cinematic record!

@deathwaltz, yes I definitely need the full version. I bought this because I'm a sucker for 80's AOR and the title track by Chris Y King is as good as it gets. But I'm loving the rest of it!

[quote=11634]@mateo, really digging this Piccioni. Sad to say the only other thing by him I own is Sartana, which I have loved for years. Any essential Piccioni recommendations?

Aside from Fumo Di London, which is super groovy, and Il Dio Sotto La Pelle, I'm a fan of his scores to Brothers Karamazov (orchestral), La Altre (sultry, bossa-jazz), I'll Dimonio (dark), Scacco Alla Regina (eerie, yet beautiful), and a sweet non-score bit of exotica called Bora Bora. Cheers!

Where to start? I pretty much love everything by Piccioni but here are some choice picks: Cadaveri Eccellenti (clubby jazz) Camille 2000 (sublime ethereal swirly organ stuff), In Viaggo Con Papa (80s cheesy disco that works!), La Decima Vittima/10th Victim (spacey crime-jazz), Lucky Luciano http://jonny-white.tumblr.com/post/6561 ... -piccionis(dark jazz), Puppet On A Chain (funky, psychedelic action score), Travolti Da Un Insolito Destino Nell'Azzurro Mare D'Agosto/ Swept Away (sublime, dreamy, bossa influenced masterpiece!). Happy hunting.

@layneharvey I guess I don't have to post pics now. I received the same yesterday. I'll be putting my order in for "The Omen" on Tuesday and I will be keeping my fingers crossed for black.

@dannybos thanks man!:) Yeah the condition of this was superb. I definitely have a knack for finding the rarities lol. I'm about to post one of my newest giallo LPs for the collection in a minute. For these records, I look tirelessly through international stores and vendors. There's a list of things I have been looking for for years, and sometime I get lucky!

The perks of having a best friend in Austin, TX! Besides Maniac and The Beyond, this may be one of my favorite Mondo Releases.

Finally got my hands on this too. I absolutely love this score. The theme is so miserable in the best way possible. I know you guys know what I mean.

And lastly, this may be one of my favorite things I own now. It took me a long time to find this Giorgio Gaslini LP with out having to sell a kidney on the black market. It's close to mint condition and just came from Paris.

@Max - yeah I just counted up haha.

Well I had been waiting for this record fair to come up & found a ton of stuff I wanted and didn't actually pay that much.

Now I just need to find time to listen to them all!

Damn your eyes man! I take a weekend off with my girly, missing the local record fair, and you hoover up all the goodness...oh, damn your eyes man! ;)

To be fair, I'm glad you made out like a bandit - and the only thing here which I was really tempted by from his stall last month was the Haunted OST which I'm still curious about - let me know how she sounds/whether you think it's worth picking up!

@Disco - I was gonna drop you a line bud but I wasn't 100% on going myself but thought I'd have a look as it's not that far out.

Had to give some of them a good clean Haunted being one of them.

When it's dry & had a spin I'll let you know.

Where do u get all these great soundtracks, all my local record stores rarely (and i do mean RARELY) have anything horror related. Usually a crap shoot and its nothing really worth picking up :-(
