Will US subbers get dibs on the US pressing?

Subbers will be offered the records . We can't give you the choice of colour as it would mean pressing extra and that is not in our contract so I am having 300 delivered to us evenly split so it is somewhat pot luck, but both variations looks great and they all sound the same :)
I can't tell you how happy i am about these , Perfume Of The Lady In Black is such an incredible score and has never seen a full release before on any format (I have the 7' which is great) and the art by We Buy Your Kids is stunning. The Fidenco score never had a vinyl release only CD and Bronx Warriors is super hard to get hold of. As for In The Wall myself and Clint have been talking about that for a very long time as I really love the music Clint does Carpenter !
Golden tickets were just a bit of a fun touch , they look like the Wonka tickets too ;)

Spencer, when the death waltz titles for rsd where spoiled online, I checked previews on youtube, Perfume of the Lady in Black is the one that got the most interest from me, it sounds like an amazing release. I don't know the movie or it's music but the title theme instatntly grabbed me. good stuff.

The Clint Mansell score to In the Wall is also very high on my anticipated release list.

You got the best titles so far for RSD. The only thing I think I'll get besides the OWS and DW releases are the score to the scott pilgrim videogame soundtrack and the silver mt.zion release.

Getting so excited for RSD. Lots of cool, unique releases coming this year. 4 full length releases from DW, we are spoiled

Can't get enough of side B of Ms. 45, great stuff.

I think my favorite part about this video is that BOTH Stallones have the greatest hair ever.

The theme from Forbidden World is SOOO Garth Marenghi! (Especially played at 45rpm...) I'm convinced Susan Justin must have seen the show back in the 80s when it was originally aired (before being banned)

;)

Seriously though...amazing score. Always wanted the original issue (with the Richard Corben-esque art) and now I want it even more. Anyone got a spare?? :P

Last night I curled up with some bourbon and the wife and watched Forbidden World and really dug it.

Pretty sure it has been said before (maybe even by me), but one of my favorite things about DW is how it leads me to such great flicks that I had never heard of (which in turn lead me to more flicks and more music and on and on).

DW has become sort of a primer for, um... how would you describe the DW aesthetic? :)

(thanks again Spence!)

jmctodo - Isn't that the truth! I've been going through the soundtrack collection and picking up the movies to match - Netflix actually has a handful

Oh shhiii.. House Of The Devil & The Innkeepers! Can't wait to get my hands on them! Both of them are definitely modern horror classics! I think DW should also do Phantasm. It's filled with progressive retro synth awesomeness!

@RyanPlugs - I love that HOTD intro! I guess that's a synth-y cover of a Cars song.

Great ! I"m still unsure what to think of the Innkeepers movie, it's a guilty pleasure but quite odd with the pacing. House of the Devil, I very very much liked. I'm happy we'll be able to get our hands on those soundtracks and am especially intrigued to see the artworks for both releases. thoses movies and the posters and visuals attached to them where superb.

Here are some pictures of the new sub records I received last week:

If anyone is after the subscriber versions of Ms 45 & Forbidden World, go to the Vinyl Buddies/For Sale thread - i'm selling mine as don't really like the music. (I will recycle the funds into RSD DW stuff)

My own copy of Forbidden World is a bit bent like that too.

You could request that your local participating store orders them in.
Other than that, there's the "hope that there's spares left over" for when they go back on general, and then online sale the following week - popping into the RSD Buddy thread sooner rather than later should get you to the head of the queue should any of us manage to be in a position to snaffle any spares...

Damn, that looks bad. Is the vinyl warped as well? That would suck.

@dumaisaudio - not warped no but the labels are a little messed and the record itself has a scratch inside the vinyl if that makes sense?

Edit
Just actually playing it and the record catches and jumps too.

Guess I'll return it for another copy.
