I have a couple of great indie stores not too far from me & I trawl eBay and record fairs as often as possible.

Fair nuff Tony. I just wondered whether you knew any secret record caves in London/ Essex area. I'm in north Essex and do hurl myself the 50 miles to the smoke reasonably often.

@oiche - I'm actually a born and bred Essex lad but ended up moving to the smoke in my early 20s.

I honestly can't even remember the last time I picked anything up around Essex way, most of the cool indies I shopped in closed down years ago.

North London has Flashback (crouch end & archway) which are both very cool, found some great Carpenter & random bits in both stores. I also have a good trawl through the charity shops in the area too, never really found anything outstanding but always worth a look.

London is cool for a ton of stuff but weirdly I'm having more luck finding bits since I moved north!

Have you ever paid a trip to The Record Album in Brighton?
I found out about it through Spencer & the shop only sells soundtracks. Seriously it's probably the coolest place I've ever been.
