@Tonyandrewgiles - Heard about The Record Album when Jonny Trunk did a show from there last year I think. Its very definitely on my list! Have been to flashback at Islington but didnt find too much. I do need to go more often. Also Mr Trunk always talks about the fabled Spitalfields market on first and third Fridays of the month, which brings together a lot of vinyl sellers. Again on the list! I know what you mean about the closing of vinyl shops in Essex though. Ive been in Colchester 25 years and watched as they all closed one by one. I hate needing to go online all the time and rarely get the time to travel far afield.

Thanks! I always find decent soundtracks at this store. The owner lives out in Arizona and ships them to my state. He hunts all around, so I get a decent selection just about every time I go. I'll have to post photos of my collection sometime. My favorite two I have so far are "the shining" and "the thing" I'm still looking for a few older ones though: Karate Kid, Gremlins, Big Trouble in Little China, Poltergeist, Psycho to name a few... I think they have "the body snatchers" on hold for me.

@ninjaqutie - THE SHINING is my absolute favorite. mostly because i love the movie so much. every time i listen to it, i close my eyes and imagine the scenes from the film that coincide with the music. i really hope one of the labels will be able to reissue that full score one day. i would absolutely die!

i've got POLTERGEIST, PSYCHO, and a 12" single from GREMLINS. KARATE KID would be awesome and i still need to track down THE THING.

you should definitely post some more photos from your collection. we all geek out over what everyone else has all the time.

@ninjaqutie, there's a "show off your collection" post, check it out. Funny you should mention migraine, as I too suffered today with what I call a 50/50 migraine = as in,I still managed to get through work, but was throwing up all day and generally not a happy bunny

Ok anyone turned off by the price tag of this oddity and didn't order, just take a look at this display. 12x12 poster, pins, stickers, devil hand doll, and I got the orange wax #18 of 75. The music? Completely off the wall. No regrets.

I went to check out a record store I'd never been to before and found this. It's so strange and foreign. Note that I've never watched any Bollywood movies, horror or otherwise. Great artwork, interesting listening experience.





I bought this a while ago because the artwork fits for a picture disc edition so well. b-side's artwork is 'meh' though. Note that I'm not a big fan of Tarantino soundtracks (it's the only one I have) as I find they are okay but a bit overrated. This one was cheap on amazon and I like "Girl, you'll be a woman soon" very much.

@4000days : I wouldn't pay too much for it, if you're going to get it, don't pay more than what I paid, 28$, but it's quite cool actually. it's got some tense horror orchestra but it's in the backdrop to some funky foreign beats of cheesy spy thriller mystery type of music. It sounds like an Indian psychedelic version of Layne's mustache as played in he 70's

I'm gonna try to record side A for you through my new soundsystem so you can preview it.
