If I wasn't already 3 songs in and digging the hell out of it I would be upset at you for making me want to buy another record today. lol. Looks like I'll be grabbing this, most likely from rappcats since it'll save me $12.

I had previously picked up Fafalle from Cometa, or would likely be getting both today. Freedom Power has eluded me for years now.

Both are great. I missed a reasonably priced OG freedom power last year and am still disappointed about it haha

Hoping the reissue shakes an original farfalla out of the trees, it's the only sermi I still need except a couple of the intermezzi.

Currently spinning the flirt trilogy - climax / underground mood / bass modulations. All three amazing records

@inksb my shipping for both was $18.50 - I have ordered a few things from Sonor before - they are really cool about combining shipping if you drop them a line and tell them you want to add Freedom Power to your order.

My shipping was $17.75 for just one record. I actually ordered Freedom Power from Rappcats. I thought about cancelling through Sonar but didn't want to bother them.

not too much time for spinning right now but this one i had to hear again after a long break. many will not agree with me but i really like this one. this record has two tunes that have to be from Alessandroni's Ritmo Dell' Industria N.2 session. fantastic stuff. the other tunes are a strange but beautiful mix. enjoy it every time i play it. classic Leo stuff with Anna Leonardi cover art...

Panoramic Feelings, don't see many of these pop up!
I have a feeling that there are quite a lot of Library grails turning up lately (this seller has several of the rare Alessandronis but there‘s also an Under Pompelmo that popped up 1-2 days ago, etc.).

This most likely has to do with the Covid-19 situation. Italy was quite badly hit compared to other European countries (+ the economy there was not too good already before the pandemic) and some people might just need the cash / or in other cases they decide to sell now before prices go down as the whole world will be in a pretty bad recession for some time.

Oddly enough not my favorite, despite the heavy beats it is repetitive and I often switch to something else before it's done. What was the price?

400€ and i bet you would have grabbed it without hesitation. this record is really good and on so many want lists. worth having for Makkaresh alone, which is one of the heaviest tunes ever being pressed on a library record.

I wish I had 400 to spend on a record right now!

Surely a great track, yes. I keep the schema CD in the car but just find it repetitive. I can't explain why, most tracks are hard driving bangers!!

one more interesting record from Leo vaults. i think Luciani is one uncrowned library superhero with at least 60 library albums released under his name plus numerous pseudonyms. surely the experimental stuff is not for everybody but it is the stuff that attracts me the most when thinking about him. he passed away only this year and nobody has even noticed. (i read about it in a Cinedelic facebook post.)

the electronic B side is the interesting one and the cover is some of the funniest things you will come across in the Leonardi empire. the cover is like:

A: "...this album is done, just off to the pressing plant..."
B: "damn, where is the cover art?"
A: "what cover art...?! oh shit, i totally forgot..."
B: "here's a pen, you have 5 minutes!"
A: "but i have never painted a picture before"
B: "does not matter, just try to make it look egyptian..."

Hahaha that cover is terrible! Maybe you're right someone forgot to arrange for the cover art!!

I had to go back and figure out why I remember this with mixed emotions.

The tracks Interrupted, Repetition and Fast Train I find tedious and repetitive. They are all three on Side A, so maybe that's what it is. The rest of it is amazing with lots of crossover with overground and underground. I'd have bought for that price if I was in a buying mode.

That Daydream is addictive, got a half dozen spins in the past couple days.

I'm back on this Dawn LP. It is so good. Varied but high energy with great drums, a heaping dose of pure late 70s downtown sleaze funk, crispy hi hats, filthy clavinet, a tropical bossa vibe, reggae dub.

I am recording it now and will post full flac rip tonight

Now I really want Fire Barn even more

Does anyone want Daybreak rip before I shelve it? I don't see many tracks on YouTube from that one.
