Nice haul @bez, you will be very happy with Feelings and Alessandroni LP's. I heard Segreto is fantastic as well but I haven't picked it up. The Fulci / Morricone album is a bit hit or miss for me, some really nice stuff on there but some stuff that's doesn't do much for me.

I still need to listen to it. But when I watched the movie I remember shouting: YES!
Problem is there are only a few copies out there that go on sale. I wanted another version as the one I got shouldn't be the best sounding version. But I have been watching on discogs for maybe 5 months. The version I wanted got sold just before I wanted to get it for around 110 euro. The version I bought went up 2 times in that period. Once at 78 euro (too expensive for me) and the one I bought (for 50 euro and I added the other 4 records from my want list to get free shipping). I got all 5 for a total of 112 euro. For me a fair amount.

Vergogna Schifosi is a short score. about 22 minutes in total. But as long as there is not re-press it is only going up in price...

I'll let you know how it sounds in about 22 minutes :-)

I know. It is the one I bought :-)
But no one is selling a copy... only rarely a copy is posted. On eBay you can find this re-issue for over 100 pounds I believe... crazy!

My copy sounds fine as in no crackles or pops. But it does sound like what this comment on discogs says:

This came direct from the deteriorated tapes, onto pure fool's gold metal(vinyl). Let's goooo!

I am wondering all releases expect the OG sound like that.

As some on who does not have the score but listened digitally many times, the answer is yes. I've yet to find a decent price on it. I'll probably have to pay a little more than I want but it's worth it.

Listening now and agreed, this is really good. The cover reminded me of metti Una Cera Cena, and now listening it has got that uplifting floating in the clouds morricone vibe, with of course the unmistakable I cantori moderni De Alessandroni

Highly recommended. I scored a copy of the gold reissue for $5 from the LitA booth fire sale at MondoCon back in the day. It was crazy what they were selling OST reissues for by the end of the convention.

ps - I did not know they cut an acetate of this album in US, hm, another thing to look for when digging.

Finally able to add this to the collection. One day after Scojo posted his in Now Spinning this one popped up on discogs at an affordabl price. I may or may not get to spin it this weekend. Depends on how much ice we get and how long the power is out.

Nice records! should play that Pate right now. There's also the Movements soundtrack by Johnny Harris which is similar, it's considered a classic. Same as Pate it's done as a suite and has these nice flute interludes. I just came to think even Alessandroni has similar flute interludes on some of his albums

Shaft in africa is great! My copy is all heat warped and pitted to hell, and the cover is trashed too. I really should get a better one lol
