I just keep realizing there are far more Schulze records than I was aware of. I really need to check some of them out.

This has always been my problem with these guys. I’m too much of a completist (read:obsessive) for German synth artists. There’s just sooooooo much and it’s only really a small handful of people but man we’re they prolific. I thought for a time I’d do all of TD...I quickly gave up that idea. Same with Schulze, at this point if I see it I just buy it. Those reissues one way static were doing for a bit were great

A little overcast and drizzly in Cascadia today. And fifteen degrees cooler than yesterday. This record was the right choice.

Please forgive me but my knowledge of your region is entirely based on pop culture having never made it quite there yet but...isn’t “a little overcast and drizzly” sort of an improvement :D.

I kid of course, I’m currently enjoying the beginning of the New York spring, also known as “it’s going to be really nice, like almost 70 for about two days, and the moment you let your guard down here comes the wind and the winter again haha you thought it was over” which I fall for every year despite knowing better.

Ha! Don’t worry, I’m being suitably chastised
by the weather gods, the wind just picked up here something fierce and the temp is dropping another 15 degrees. We’ve had something like a 40 degree swing since Friday. Gotta do everything dramatically here :D

It was snowing for 2 hours at my house today. Nothing like NY weather just kicking ya down. I felt like such shit today I at least slept through part of it.

Sun was shining when I got home today and while looking for a record I flipped past this, haven't listened to it in a while so I threw it on. Such a great album. I'm pretty sure @mateo is a big fan as well.

Well this was a pleasant surprise to see pop up on the bootleg market. Conway the Machine - Reject 2. This one was a very limited press originally done by a company out of UK called Daupe! that loves to liken themselves to SUPREME clothing brand (super limited, expensive and no represses). The original pressing was around 300 copies back in 2016, they now sell for over $1000. Fucking wild. I bought this $40 boot from a record shop in Canada and I'll happily spin it. Sound quality is mediocre but honestly I have a feeling the original pressing sounds about the same since the digital copy is low quality too. It was made in some guys living room in Buffalo on cheap ass equipment.

And this wonderful record was back on the table again last night. I just love the artwork too

Nice score on the Conway record.

I'm kind of late on those guys. I ordered a bunch of different Daupe! releases for friends cause they know I'm fast at drops, but didn't keep any for myself. Shame since most of them are worth quite a bit.
