Playasia had em for 41.99, and as much as I hate paying that much, the 99+ the original pressings ask for solidified my purchase. Any more expensive and I wouldn't have been able to.

That's actually the cheapest I've seen. LITA had them for $55+ I believe. I didn't know Playasia sold vinyl, how is their packaging?

That was my biggest fear about ordering from them, I've ordered games and movies from them, but never vinyl.

It was packed in a large probably 12 vinyl sized box, double wrapped in bubble wrap. All of mine arrived pretty damn good, but slow shipping.

I had a pretty interesting couple weeks of "new" releases show up.

The Gate: Love the packaging on this one, and the score is excellent.
My sub package included a TP for Children Shouldn't Play...

Anima Morte - H.P. Lovecraft's The Call Of Cthulhu - Selected Themes: Numbered wax mage pressing. I picked up Cadabra's new Call Of Cthulhu LP a few weeks ago and fell in love with the score. When a wax mage variant popped up on Cadabra's website recently, I jumped on it.
The numbered, screen printed wraparound is a nice touch, and the record itself looks incredible.

Warrington-Runcorn New Town Development Plan ‎– Interim Report, March 1979: Somebody on here posted this recently (sorry, I forget who). I checked out some samples online and immediately searched it out. It's fantastic.

Alice, Sweet Alice: Looking to seeing how well this one plays outside of the movie.

Sigur Rós ‎– Hlemmur: Soundtrack to a 2003 documentary housed in a bound, hardcover book of sketches. It's absolutely stunning in hand. According to the band, it's the last-ever hardback cloth-bound book made at Iceland's last book manufacturer.

Makeup And Vanity Set ‎– Heart Of Batman: Autographed copy on black vinyl. Another outstanding documentary soundtrack. The gatefold design is really neat, and the booklet of artwork from the show hit the nostalgia hard.

This had pretty much been on my "to buy" list since it first came out. Once I saw the film I decided I really needed to get it. But for whatever reason it always got pushed for something else. Jump to earlier in the year and I decide to get it only to see it's jumped in price to around $200. F*&% ME! I left it in my want list on Amazon just hoping and one day last month the vinyl gods shined their light on me. $45, new, shipped from England. It just arrived. Needless to say I'm feeling pretty happy today.

great haul, @Bez!

I got Alice and Dirty Harry in the last couple of days, too - lots of crackles on the Alice. Maybe a cleaning will help. Great mastering and awesome score, though.

The Dirty Harry sounds *amazing*. I spun it twice yesterday. Freaking me out that I can hear the metronome bleed in the drummer’s headphones though (or someone’s headphones). Haha.

I can’t believe Shape of Water is up to that price. I think it might be one of the last records I got from ed’sawesomesounds (rip).

Bunch of stuff has come in over the last few days

Tangerine Dream LP's came shipped in a pizza box, LPs were wrapped in 4 garbage bags for paddings, with some random bubble wrap and foam thrown in for good measure lol. Arrived safely even if it was unconventional packing.

I'm literally a stuck record on this matter, but - Heartbreakers is criminally underrated TD.

Agreed! During my TD explorations of albums from '70-'90 last spring, it was definitely one of the ones I don't see mentioned often that stuck out to me.

I have received a few LP's shipped in pizza boxes, but my favorite was one I received from Ivana Mattei of Cometa Records in Italy before she passed. Not only was this one kind of reinforced into a sturdy shipping box, but they also covered it with Italian postage stamps. It was such an interesting box that I keep it out on display above my record shelf:

That's awesome. I received a package a year or so ago from Greece and had very similar stamp situation as this. I actually removed a handful of them because they were so cool. If you ask me where I put those I couldn't tell you though lol

I picked all of these up in a local record store today. First time I'd been in over a year.
They just bought a huge soundtrack collection. Lots of VS and Italian. Guy said he still has several hundred to sort through and price.

There was a ton of Morricone. It took all my willpower to walk away with just these.

Although I had Red Sonja in my hands for a good 15 mins before putting it back, and I kind of regret it now.
