Managed a rip from my pal, the sound quality is soooo much higher than the various unofficial LPs I’ve picked up over the years (all sourced from mp3). Just couldn’t afford the vinyl box.

@reddye I love those Japanese CDs. Do you buy them from Japan? Or seller closer to you?
I saw some very interesting CD on Soundohm, but I cannot start buying CDs as well...

I saw some very interesting CD on Soundohm, but I cannot start buying CDs as well...

I'd say I buy 90% of my Japanese CDs from CD Japan, 9% from Amazon Japan, and the rest are from Ebay and Arksquare. The price of the CDs has been great as of late (weak yen), and shipping isn't bad, either. Ends up being around $20 for an order, which after buying a few CDs in one order, isn't much per CD.

Some of the ones in that screenshot, such as the New Rock & Underground one, are less than $7 from CD Japan. There is an Avant-Garde & Free (presumably jazz) compilation as well that I'll be picking up.
