... And "Terminator 2" for £11.89 (fetching £30+ on eBay).

+ "Far Cry 3" and "Teeth of The Sea A Field in England: Re-imagined".

It should in theory be nice and easy for people to source most of what they want or missed out on - once the stores start putting up their lists later in the week I'll get a thread up with links to UK stores selling online surplus (and encourage those in other countries to do likewise) so everyone can find what they want at a decent price (the Soundgarden boxset is one that seems to fluctuate wildly - £84.99 at Norman, £99.99 at Rough Trade for example).

The Teeth of the Sea one (same with Screaming Trees) was a weird one this year, as more than a few Amazon marketplace stores had this for sale very early - I'm guessing that they distributed early to avoid the sort of problems that others had (our own Death Waltz seem to have sailed very close to the wind this week (no) thanks to TNT), and in doing so fell foul of other pitfalls...

So glad someone found the golden ticket! I had the awful thought it would be lost in a neatly shelved, unopened, mint condition LP, ready for future sale. DW releases were incredible this year. Respect to all involved. On a side note, that cover art for COTLD would look mighty fine on a deck...to ride...

I was second in line at my local shop yesterday, and the DW releases (and LHOTL picture disc) were some of the first things on my wish list.

I was back in there today and they've still got stock of all 4 DW records. I think they're about £17 each but I could be totally wrong, but they still had them as of 5PM Sunday.

here in Belgium the DW records were priced at 28€ each, at some stores even a bit higher. But worth it.

Those are some real fantasy prices on Ebay. They're not going to shift those!

Anyone here have any insight into what is happening with the online sales of the Death Waltz RSD titles on the Light In The Attic site? All indications were that the titles would be on sale online at some point yesterday. They still have not gone up for sale and the people who have asked LITA for info are being completely ignored. The total lack of communication is unusual for LITA.

As glad as I am that I could buy the RSD releases direct from DW rather than praying my local store here in NZ could snag some copies, I'm currently deeply jealous of everyone who's already spinning the glorious looking things.

Thanks for the heads up, reddye6!

Picked up Mansell and Rizzati. Still 1 left of both, only cost me $50 for both shipped!

Excellent -- glad to help! I ended up getting a copy from Melody Supreme online. They have some other DW RSD titles. Not as nice as Weirdo was, but still at store prices:

Bronx Warriors at $33: http://www.melodysupreme.org/product/wa ... -rsd-2014/

Piovani/Profumo at $33: http://www.melodysupreme.org/product/ni ... g-colored/

It looks like Bullmoose.com has leftover RSD stock up for sale right now including DW. I think their site is about to crash tho as I've been waiting to check out for ten mins now

Bullmoose has DW? That's odd. In the weeks leading up to RSD, it was listing all of the titles it was going to get, and it didn't have any DW on it. I went to the Salem, NH, one, and it didn't have any DW on site. Grr.

Actually, I don't think they have them yet (which means it is surprising they are selling them online).

When I was there on saturday, it seemed like they hadn't received their shipment in time. The gal at the register reserved me a copy of 'Perfume' and said she thought it would come in soon. Take this for what it is worth.

Which Bullmoose did you go to? I do like that they allowed you to reserve two items beforehand. I was able to get Teeth of the Sea and The Space Project 7" box set.

They had them up on their site under RSD items, and they put what they had left over online...I didn't see any actual change on the list, so I assumed they did...perhaps you had to click on each individual item to see if its really in stock or not.

I'm still waiting to check out...almost an hour now. Most likely sold out of everything I've got in my cart, but what else is new!

Scarborough, and yes, it took some stress out of the AM knowing that I had my top two (non DW) choices sitting behind the counter (Sun Ra and Rodion G.A.). Not sure if you noticed, but if you checked your account online before saturday, it even confirmed they had them waiting for me! Really bummed they continue to have a hard time getting DW records, and even more bummed that when they do, their prices are so high (which is the opposite case for most things, Paranorman was $26 I think). The prices was why I didn't reserve DW copies, I had also trusted that LITA would be able to sort me out with a better price. Luckily, I stumbled upon Amoeba's copies before they sold out.

>perhaps you had to click on each individual item to see if its really in stock or not.

yup, they are pretty cool in that they even show you which stores have them on the shelves. as of an hour or two ago, the DW titles still showed 'coming soon' at all stores and 'rare item, we will try to get one for you' next to the 'add to basket' button.

I wonder how my in-store reservation of a copy of Perfume will be handled.

I have to say, the DW releases are amazing, but at 2000 copies worldwide, I am having a hard time believing these (very) cult soundtracks will really be hard to find in a months time.

I absolutely love the death waltz releases for RSD, some of the best looking I've seen. If I could change 1 thing I'd love to of had the prints as the actual sleeve covers like the "In the wall" release. Wonder why only this one was like this ??

i agree! they are great! as for the cover art, perhaps its RSD tradition, as last year the Horror Business and Yellow soundtracks were the same way, print only included in the sleeve. I just put 'em in vinyl sleeves and pop the print on top of the vinyl box so its showing. Works well!

Managed to pick up all four DW releases today along with Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon and Terminator 2 from Piccadilly Records in Manchester. Not sure how many they have left. Saved me queuing up for hours on Saturday as these were the only releases I wanted. They only got 15 copies of Blood Dragon to sell too, really surprised there were any left. DW were £17.99 each, Blood Dragon £24.99 and T2 was £11.99 I think. Drop them an email, really helpful staff there.

If anyone in North America is still looking for the RSD titles http://www.redcat.ca have some left. They do not sell online but if you call and ask for Dave and ask really nice I bet he will do mailorder for you ;-)

Quite pleased with all the DW releases for RSD this year. From most favourite to least, for me it goes Emanuelle, Bronx Warriors, Perfume Of The Lady In Black, In the Wall. If there's a complaint, I kinda wish the posters weren't so freakin' huge. I really miss the original run of posters, where they were on thicker paper, smaller and in a rectangle instead of a big clunky square. Just hard to find the wall space for something so massive and I haven't framed one of these bad boys since the format turned square.
