Did anyone else notice a ton of sibilance on the Emanuelle release? I though maybe it was just my system but the Frizzi played perfect. I will hit up Spencer just wanted to see if anyone else had issues.

Just had a lunchtime jaunt out into Soho, picked up Perfume of the Lady in Black but no luck with Blood Dragon. Plenty of DW stock in Sounds of the Universe if anyone still needs.

I noticed some sibilance on the final track on side B, but nothing too distracting. However, my copy came without a litho and had a few deep scratches on the same side.

So yesterday I was at my local store, searching for the Bronx Warrior soundtrack and the Blood Dragon one, sadly I found nothing... Except the MANIAC soundtrack on flesh/blood vinyl. This is my first Death Waltz release, I always wanted to buy Death Waltz stuff but couldn't ( not enough money etc... ) since their first release, so I'm pretty happy.

Also, it's a little bit strange, Maniac is the only Death Waltz release that was unavailable to France... And it's the only one my store has ( I'm in France ) :p

Cosmo's post reminds me that there was a third version of Maniac available (France and Belgium?). Who put that out and what did it look like?

That's the one. Thanks. Never heard of Hamburger Records before. Odd that they have only three releases listed on discogs since 2003.

The mondo one wasn't legally available in France and it's hard to find anyway.

RougeGorge, I would be willing to let go of my Mondo Maniac LP. It's been played several times but is still in shrink and in great shape. I'm in the US, so international shipping would apply. Email me if interested: mrdavidhand@gmail.com

I've been searching for the french one but when I saw the artwork I was disapointed... The Death Waltz one is still the best in my opinion ( just look at that mirror sleeve ), I don't like the Mondo one and the french one... Well they just used the poster artwork, not very original, the Death Waltz one looks awesome on my shelves, and the flesh/blood vinyl looks fantastic, as is the score.

Good luck to those trying to get sub 4 at the weekend - there's 110 left, so I imagine everyone on this forum who wants one will definitely get one. That's just the 'deluxe version' though. No confirmation on a 'standard version' sub yet though. Maybe they want to shift all the deluxe ones first?

I'm a bit lazy to look it up, was the sub 170 with or without shipping?

Without.

I also just got an email with the details of the back to black sub.

The email doesn't say -- is there a cap on the B2B subscription?

No idea. Maybe he's going to see how many takers there are before deciding on numbers.

This "Back To Black" sub is the best news of the year so far! Music first, finally! So happy!

Is the variant of Slumber Party Massacre going to be on sale through LITA or only the DW Store?

Going forward from Sub 4, will there still be a 'standard' edition of each release sold individually through DW / shops or will black become the new standard?

@dumaisaudio - The email implied both.

I was looking at it on my phone and it formatted weirdly, so it read like one long sentence. Looking at it on my desktop, it reads more like it's both.
