DISCOSUCKS :
Where's... my Creepshow? I... want... my... Creepshow! Where's my Creepshow, Waxworks? I want my Creepshow you dirty BITCH! I'm going to have it! You promised me my Creepshow!

WAXWORKS :
[distressed, almost driven to the point of madness]
I DON'T HEAR YOU! I SAID I DON'T HEAR YOU!

DISCOSUCKS :
WAXWORKS, YOU BITCH! What do you think I've got you here for? You're just like all the others - you're nothing but a bunch of VULTURES!

[Waxworks is in a highly distressed state, almost driven to the point of madness now]

DISCOSUCKS:
[still clacking his cane, the clacking sound has been slowly intensifying]
WAXWORKS! WHERE'S MY CREEPSHOW?

[Waxworks bashes Disco's head in with a marble ashtray, killing him instantly].

@disco - Brother disco, did your Under The Skin arrive?

Hey TAG, it did actually, yours? I'm listening to it and a bunch of stuff right now which I'll be posting here on Static's thread.....

How was your RSD sir?

A couple of hours of catch-up on recent stuff before heading out......

The woman who fell to earth. This is such a great soundtrack, and works brilliantly away from the images. I may try re-reading the book whilst listening to it.....did that once years ago with Angel Heart, and coincidentally the very last notes of Trevor Jones' score (with the whispered "Johnny...") were playing as I read the very last lines of the book! Spooky!!

I've always loved this stuff, glorious to have this Sacred Bones wax version....more guys, more!!! To be played very LOUD.

Lush. I met the director last year, at a screening of his very weird follow up, "Pension Paura". Funny guy! (and, erm, not a feminist I would say ;)

Oooh, really great! Rizzatti is a disco funk demon! There's ping pong bass all over this, and loads of Ron Burgundy on Jazz Flute!!

The Nicolai avalanche continues - I have to agree with others, this is surely one of the very best Italian soundtracks ever??

Good day to you all!

@disco - it did indeed and has since been teamed with the Teeth of the Sea - A Field in England & Martinez version of Solaris for an extra bliss out.

RSD was my favourite & best one so far, M&M had everything I wanted so the whole trip lasted about 10 minutes.

How was yours?

I hear you've got a pretty "special relationship" with the birthday fairy bro -- I'm sure she won't let you down ;)

@disco - haha many thanks my brother!

This little beauty did just arrive to tide me over (pun intended).

I pretty much ordered this as a knee jerk because everyone seemed to be talking about it & I can 100% say I'm so bloody glad I did because it's just f'n awesome.

The liner notes and the way the album is presented are just perfect.

Very impressed with this Waxworks release.

Hey @static @tim - just gave the fluffy version a quick spin through and have to say I'm pretty impressed. A little surface noise in a few of the quiet parts but on the whole if give it a solid 4/5.

Package is beautiful :)

finally giving it a spin and it sounds great, it's a keeper. may try to clean side one again, just a bit crispy but nothing too bad, side 2 is much quieter. Waxwork did another fine job!

I love this score, will be grabbing a Mondo when it's released.

Don't be jealous TAG, Mondo's release is going to be so much better have the score spread across 2 slabs of vinyl.

@tim - It's the first Mondo release I'm really looking forward to.

Really enjoying Creepshow :)

same here. I think Waxwork really did a great job on Creepshow. I was a little worried about the cake frosting version but glad I got it.

Cleaned this one again trying to get it a bit more quiet. The clear part of the vinyl is good but it gets pretty noisy once it gets into the haze. I'm giving serious consideration to letting it go. The gold edition is so much better.

Hazy vinyl is always noisy, i've got some, but I like the noisy / oldish sound. Especially on this Fog variant.

Giving the Umberto La Llorona 7" a spin.

Looks a little odd having no label.
