Yeah I wonder if the blue and the green photos were just photoshopped to show a sample, the green color is really off. Not a big deal either way.

My amazon bought copy turned up today (uk) but still no sign of my cockroach coloured copy ordered direct from Waxwork. Love the packaging and my green looks a little brighter than some of the photos I have seen.

Here is my cockroach one that has just arrived. Vinyl is solid (while my blue isn't). They definitely must have been using a light behind the vinyl while shooting. But its ok to me, fits my table
the blue and green ones from LITA arrived 2 weeks ago by the way...

Not bad looking, but I do feel like they were a little misleading as far as the colors go. I would have thought yours was a transparent brown and the green I thought would have been more like a bright green mutant goo from a power plant type of thing. LOL. I don't think any of them are hideous, I just think some of them are not quite what I would have expected and had I ordered them, I would have been a little let down. I'm glad I didn't order that one, because I almost did. Looks more like poopoo brown than cockroach. :/

Yeah, I was a little disappointed about the cockroach color as well. And thanks ninjaqutie - now every time I spin it I will be thinking "poopoo"...

Looks like it was done by hand so did anyone else get the same or are there different messages on each one?

@NathanLurker I have a weird habit of checking the dead wax for some reason. I have no idea why it started. Its surprising how may records have little messages on them haha

Has anyone heard from waxwork lately? I know they're small but I emailed them last week about the ridiculous amount of noise at the end of side 2 on my cake icing version and I haven't had any sort of reply.

First issue I've had with them so not sure what to expect.

I had a customer service issue with them last release and, while they were fairly quick to respond (48 hours-ish) and polite, they were also mildly indignant and not terribly accommodating. Kind of disappointing.
