Probably wouldn't happen, but I'd like it if both Ti West soundtracks were put into a single gatefold. I don't remember there being a whole load of music throughout The Innkeepers, so that as a stand alone release would be a bit short I feel.

Hi guys! I have a question for those of us who have bought DW releases throught LITA.
Can we apply for the digital download?
Really interested in Ms. 45

Here's my theory on the sub...

Hopefully since Spencer decided to split beyond and city of the living dead, we'll see one of the twin peaks releases.

Also spencer wrote about how they'll be releasing a score on its 30th anniversary. In a separate post he said something about an award winning composer. Gremlins anybody???

Also a dual time west release would be super neat.

I'm very interested in that Eaten Alive LP, but the cost of getting it to the US is killer. This hasn't been made available stateside anywhere, has it?

Gremlins would be freaking awesome! I have a 45 from when I was a kid. LOL.

Twin Peaks won't be part of sub4, guys.

The CD of "The Innkeepers" is 40 minutes, so it'd be fine as a standalone.

Oscar winning composer, isn't it?

However to counter my argument, mondo has Goldsmith seemingly on lock... and gremlins doesn't really sound like a DW kinda thing.

Also a lack of twin peaks is a bummer. Oh well.

@brentonwalter Don't worry man, if you're a subber, you'll get first dibs on it when it's released ;)

If you find a way to get the Ms. 45 mp3s, please let me know. I also ordered through LITA, not realizing I wouldn't get the digital versions, and now I'm kicking myself.

I'm psyched for Twin Peaks but I don't mind that it's not part of the subscription. We were told in advance it wasn't going to be. You get a chance to order it in advance, so it's all cool.

I'm actually really excited about the killer stuff we've got coming in Sub 4 that we don't know about yet

Definitely would not want Gremlins. Originals are widely available and super cheap. More importantly, half the record is full of bad '80s pop songs.

My bad, I just don't remember there being a huge amount of music throughout the film. Still, wouldn't turn my nose up at a Ti West double feature ;)

I still think it could be Videodrome....from Howard 'Triple Oscar winner' Shore. I say think...but I mean hope!

Weeellll Static.....(puts on deerstalker, grabs pipe) .....

if I recall correctly, I'm sure El Hicko first said something along the lines of "approaching it's thirtieth anniversary".....

the tricky wee scamp.

I'm sticking with the first instinct I had. Which is why I'm such an awesome poker player!**

The exact quote from Spencer was "also just took delivery of the masters and cover of a film that celebrates it’s birthday this year (it’s over 30 years old) and when you find out what is is and what we are doing with it , we’ll blow your mind)"

And I think Carlos almost, almost confirmed Videodrome at one point.

So I'm with disco.

Not sure why that came out there, should have been on the prior page.

Of course every film has a birthday every year so that doesn't help much.

And disco has written essentially the same thing on the last page. Ha.

Evidence, sir:

1) I found Spencer's original comment - it says
"just took delivery of the masters and cover of a film that celebrates it’s birthday this year (it’s over 30 years old) and when you find out what is is and what we are doing with it , we’ll blow your mind)"

2) @MonthofMacabre comment a while back:
"I will re-open this discussion and say that Videodrome is just SCREAMING for a release. *wink wink*"

And we all know he gets some inside scoop.......

3) I really, really want it to be Videodrome. So that seals it! ;)
