HI,

I managed to get hold of the recent reissue of the Mars Volta album De-Loused in the Crematorium from Music on Vinyl. I snagged a copy of the Gold pressing however The copy I received has 2 disk 2's and no disk 1. This must have been a manufacturing issue but as this sold out in minutes I cant get a replacement. So if anyone gets or has received a copy of 2 disk ones please let me know so we can trade and both get a complete set. This is one of my favorite albums of this genre and I am gutted that this happened so would love to resolve it and help someone else out in process. Although I am well aware of how much of a long shot this is haha.

Cheers Guys and Gals

Just because it sold out doesn't mean they didn't press extras. You need to email the distributor and tell them what happened. They usually get extra stock to cover issues like this.

Thanks @jdubtxn I didn't realise they did this. Ill e-mail Music on Vinyl and see what they say. Thanks again.

MOV did a fantastic reissue of the Faith No More catalog recently and their colored version of Angel Dust had an error in the pressing plate for disk 1. They exchanged it no problem with a second, clean pressing. They stopped doing so after a while so I'd hustle up, but they should get you sorted out.

Cheers for in info @Mateo I am a lot happier knowing I might get this sorted. And +1 for the Faith no more. I got hold of the MOV pressing of The real thing on green and it sounds great. Looks like I will have to get Angel dust too now haha.

@Hardrain02 - MOV did a fantastic job on those reissues. Black or colored, by all accounts the fidelity is sterling.
