Night Satan appeals to me and I'd like to order but I've got one question: Will the DVD work for American region DVD players?

I'm excited about the possibility you mentioned of some Asian material coming up for DW next year. There is some fantastic material that can get mined out of that region.

On a different note, Texas Chainsaw Massacre 40th Anniversary Edition is due out in September on Blu-Ray, and I read online that they took great lengths to not only restore the picture up the sound for the movie. Apparently Tobe Hooper himself was employed in restoring the sound - which is great since he is credited with creating the music for the film.

Ignorant vinyl-fanboy question: If the sound was restored for a film digitally, does that also mean that the music could have been isolated for restoration? I've been dreaming over a Texas Chainsaw Soundtrack for years and it would be great if they were able to 'pull' a soundtrack out of the restored sound for the film.

I'm calling Chicago tomorrow to find out - apparently that is where Hooper did the sound restoration work. I'll let the fine folks on the Forum know what I find out.

Mine just arrived in pristine condition and my DWRC stuff is almost always dinged up due to tge shitty euro mailers that plague so many distributors over there. Though the vinyl (ya know, the part that really counts) is always pristine.

My flexi arrived in la la land (LA) today. No damage and I recorded it on the first play so I can listen to the recording instead of killing the flexi next time. I love getting special little one-offs like this.

All the people saying they didn't get badges or stickers know those were just for sub 3 people right?

By the looks of things there really should be plenty left when it goes on general sale.
