Really only 1 thing worry's me. If Death Waltz starts up a production shop here in the US - and makes it cheaper for US buyers to get their records (would still be awesome) - i am afraid the flippers who are based in the US will pick up on it and we will see those sell out just as fast.

Buying the Jurassic Park release from Mondo was just about the biggest pain in the arse purchase i've ever made. In the end I got the amber version (if this happened to you you'll know where i'm coming from) but it really was a frustrating process. I just feel that both Mondo and Deathwaltz struggle with the demand and pressure put on them so I really hope this alliance creates a smoother buying experience that favours the fans, not the flippers.

I gotta be honest the only thing that bothers me is that i have a nightmare with the death waltz oversize jackets. I appreciate that they are excellent quality but why can't they be the same size as all other records? I can't find any protective outer sleeves big enough to use on them. What do the rest of you guys use on these?

@guyremix - i got a big pack of 100 sleeves from bags unlimited website made for 180 gram records - 13"x13" 2 mil no flap. item number SLP13132. they were about 22 US dollars plus shipping. they fit all of the later larger DW releases nicely.

@Guyremix if you're happy using polythene sleeves then you can pick them up really easily. PVC I would guess is a bit more difficult.

I wouldn't hold my breath. I've been waiting for a package from them for 50 days now... Order placed August 1st, completed August 4th, still no package. Sent emails asking about it, no reply. I keep hearing about DW's great customer service but this is now the 3rd time I've had to wait over a month for my order (how long does it take to send a package from the UK to Finland?) and I'm starting to get seriously pissed off. I'd understand if these were pre-order items but my order was all distributed titles.

I agree totally. I've not received an order made 2.5 months ago, and am currently waiting for a Morricone that was 'completed' a month and a half ago.

Service when I had a problem with a disc was brilliant, resolved straight away.
