Got my Sub delivery and TCM lp today...everything looks great. The box got decimated so all of my corners are beat up, but honestly, I could care less -- HOTD sounds great for a picture disc -- I am impressed!

So many releases these days, any 80$ purchase feels like a big expense. But I received TCM yesterday and gave it one spin through the whole of the album and I think it's definitely worth the money. Very good stuff.

that's what i was afraid of, overspending. what with all the great releases lately. there are still a bunch of stuff i want to purchase but have just been holding back.

but, i really am glad that this was a purchase that is worth the value

I hear you man, lots of stuff I'm passing by because I can't keep up. Like the Morricone reissue, I got a few of them but can't get them all, I still haven't grabbed the UTOPIA tv soundtrack. don't have money for the Vampyr rescore either.

But worst case scenario if you end up thinking the TCM is not worth the money you spent, you'll have no trouble re-selling that one.

I paid just over $60 USD to have this shipped from DW, so $80 is not too obscene of a leap beyond that. It is still a lot to pay for a 2LP though. I do understand the desire to reward deluxe subscribers and festival attendees with a limited run item. It is just tough for DW fans to deal with as it's DWO01 and a future repress is unknown at this time.

Just wanted to give a big thanks to @deathwaltz.

Spencer may be terrorising LA but he still took the time to help me get my Hook & Pull replaced after the first one arrived faulty.

I know there are a lot of folk on here who missed out on it and that's a shame because this is one amazing listening experience.

Hoping not to sound like a dick & not trying to rub it in but this album is easily in my top 2 of the year (beaten by Cannibal Ferox) At first listen I kinda hated it, now I listen to it every single day from start to finish.

If you're able and don't have to pay a silly amount I implore you to check out this record.

Cannibal Ferox was awesome! I just rewatched the movie last night. Ended up selling the camo version and keeping the split color, but I kind of regret not selling the split color instead of the camo. Oh well, First World Problems...

Hook and Pull is badass though! I got mine signed after the screening. Spencer didn't want to sign it because it would "devalue the record" which I thought was hilarious.

@texas - Cannibal I think is just my favourite album of the year, there's maybe a couple of black metal releases in there but so far that's my número uno!

Aye...the latest sub package is great, throw in the tcm special and this has been my fav parcel delivery to date!

Big thanks to Spencer for pulling this off, some kind of a 'tcm' release was on my initial 'vinyl wants' list and DW keep on delivering. So pleased that i was able to be onboard for sub4, has been better than i even expected. Some awesome releases coming down the pipe too...more of the same please!

Question: The Party Slumber Massacre is stickered as 45RPM (also on the label) - but it sounds terrible for me. Was this a mistake and the record should be played at 33RPM?

@occhionero - It's supposed to be 33rpm, if I remember correctly there were some that were mislabeled.

Wait, Slumber Party Massacre is supposed to be played at 33?! Mine totally says 45, so that's what I've always played it at. Sadly, there seems to be at least always one big typo on most DW releases, though mostly in the liner notes. Kinda drives me nuts sometimes, like they need a new copy editor or something.

Today I have received my "Game of Thrones" Vinyl. I would be happy if DW would seal the albums like modern vinyl in a resealable shrink. So you don´t have the problems with stickers on the shrink.

Just a suggestion for the future.

Ok just spinning mine now & it's supposed to be 45rpm!
Mine is labeled as 33rpm which now listening to it sounds very wrong.
