Haha I'd like to see that. The main theme is pure heroin!
Been dreaming with this release for so long... fancy?? come on!

Well, you said you'd like to see that......so sometimes you gotta take a feller at his word!

Pretty rusty, haven't tried this for a while! Had to find damed batteries for both the guitar and the amp too, turned into a right faff for a silly quick bitov fun haha......but there you go.

FWIW, all of Carpenter's scores from the mid-90s onward are fun to play along with on a toy guitar ;)

Creature From the Black Lagoon or Night of the Living Dead

I seriously do want it to be the Shining. That is a must-have. Used to eye those discogs prices of the original press but that's way out of my budget.

Whatever it is I hope that DW involvement = original artwork. Movie stills as record covers/interiors aren't doing it for me. I like seeing something that can't be seen by hitting pause on the dvd.

A split with "2000 maniacs" ;) & "I Drink Your Blood" :)
I know...it's not the case...

The cover for Cannibal Ferox & Beyond The Black Rainbow look great. I wouldn't have them any other way.

Not to mention The Hills Have Eyes and Las House on the Left. THHE is close to my favorite reissue package. I think the professional/promotional stills add a sinister, yet vintage, veneer to the proceedings.

This looks to possibly be a very "tasty" collaboration. I am excited to see what gets announced.

It's also fun to see so many people asking for the same releases (The Shining, Phantasm, The Thing). It has taken me almost fifteen years to obtain just two of those three albums, and chasing down the additional Wendy Carlos and John Carpenter material adds even more thrill to the hunt.

Is The Shining that hard to find?

I've seen it a few times for under £30 which is a lot less than some folk paid for Hook & Pull.

You guys really shouldn't encourage this kind of tomfoolery...it's openin' a can of worms! ;)

The Shining LP sells for around $40-70 USD on ebay, and The Thing and Phantasm are near that range as well. The Hook & Pull Gang feels to be a special release for a lot of people; both for the subject matter, and limited 2LP pressing.
