I usually sit back and skim over most of the posts on this site so it might be the first time I've posted a response. I'm sure some of you are in the same boat with me but I'm getting seriously fucking sick of you dimwitted cry babies coming here to bitch and whine or talk shit on deathwaltz and/or their releases. Grow the fuck up. You have a simple choice to buy something or not yet you waste everyone's time taking to this forum to voice your mentally retarded opinions, as if anyone truly gives a fuuuuck. For the sake of all our sanity please go the fuck away.

The pressing information you saw on the Foreign Sounds website in regards to SFFS was outdated. As the DW site suggests they have an exclusive one-off pressing pressed just for Death Waltz. It is 100% unique and exclusive to Death Waltz Recording Company. Anyone not in the US should definitely order from DW to not only get a limited color, but save on shipping.

The pressing information is 100 Black, 250 red/black and 150 clear/pink*
*DW exclusive.

DW is the only site selling this colorway and if you find it somewhere else, they would have gotten it from DW.

There really is no need for comments like that at all.

Constructive criticism is more than welcome but is there seriously any need to post things like that?

This is cool place, let's keep it that way.

Well that turned out to be a pointless rant! Nothing worse than ranting about wrong facts!

Plus those dolls are made in collaboration with DW and this is a DW thread so if say it fits right in!

I think they look fabulous and fit in with the ethos of this forum and DW. I can't justify the price tag however, and don't collect ephemera like this, but given the funds they are so good it would make me start!

As an aside, again due to funds I find myself having to ration what vinyl I buy. After consideration I focus on DW releases because of the great customer service, the excellent music and the second to none packages they come in. Having said that I just gave in and bought 4 Mondo releases, but it's all the same family now, right?! No food this month, but music can nourish too!

Anyway, keep up the good work Spencer, your efforts are really appreciated, and I hope you still check in here every now and then.

Just my opinion, sorry I don't feel the need to make crawly bumlick posts like everyone else!

Thanks for the information, its nice to be able to get some facts that allow me to make a decision about where to buy... Is anyone distributing the Crimson Throne in UK or am I best to order from yourself?

That and your information was wrong!

I haven't posted on here in months, but this idiot made me feel like I had to come back.

So many bands, labels, and artists have stated that if they knew of the kind of people or fans they would attract, they might of thought twice about starting their brand. People like this poster really bum me out. What do you care what Spencer and DW does? It's his label, and he has never let down and of the rabid fans that fully support him. If you don't like it, then don't buy it. Who says your tastes and ideas of what DW is actually really matters?

I do love when labels or bands do something to really piss off the types of fans like this poster. Spencer, you should just release a Look Who's Talking LP just to stick it to 'em...or something of that nature. haha.

Anyways, if this poster isn't down with DW's decisions, STFU and start your own brand and make something! How many records has your label released??

As for me, I love witches!!!

@kumachan, nobody here is expected to be a suckup. You're simply expected to conduct yourself in a respectful adult-like manner as I hope you would out in the real world. Your rant was childish and obviously misguided. Lighten up.

Spot on.

I've worked on (and continue to to for) sites where both the people who created them, and the people they were set up to talk about, have come to actively hate them.
I have been told by bands what they actually think of the people who post on their forums, both individually and as a whole, and I was once asked to tell an entire forum dedicated to one artist that none of them would be welcome at any of their future shows. Recently, Greg Dulli of the Afghan Whigs/Twilight Singers personally told one "fan" to never buy a single record of his ever again - the internet pushes everyone to exasperation, and sometimes it looks cruel when one person is singled out in such a way but that's what happens when people don't think.

Entitlement runs rife - just because there's a space to say something, it doesn't mean that anyone should just pipe up with any old crap that occurs to them without putting their brain into gear first and thinking "is there a better way to express this?"

Freedom of speech is a big deal, and just because this is a semi-private forum, those freedoms are still respected - nobody has been banned, nobody has been censored, instead unconstructive "debate" is challenged and called out. And if posters can only respond with insults and childish language that insinuates that they are not prepared to civilly back up their own personal attacks, then it's a lot easier to leave here and find a forum that suits you better than it was to sign up.

Okay, how about a simple question:
Any idea what the last title will be in the Subscriptions?
I've got emails from DW but they looked like the Distributed releases
With a bit of Financial wrangling I may be able to afford a full subscription the next time rather than the B2B.

I believe it's been mentioned that the final title in sub4 would be holiday-related?

I thought The Beyond was the final title in the sub. I could be wrong though.

Whilst I don't condone the general tone of @kumachan's posts, I'll give them kudos for using the phrase "crawly bumlick"

I don't post on here very often but I really hope Spencer doesn't abandon this forum. I'm not arse kissing as certain people suggest but honestly feel he'd be missed. If it wasn't for DW I wouldn't know know about The Night Terrors, Le Matos etc. No-one can please everyone, as other members have said, if you don't like it don't buy it. Simply put, if it wasn't for DW and similar lables we'd all be moaning about the lack of horror OST's on vinyl. But to ourselves as this forum wouldn"t excist.

The Beyond does sound right, and it would make for a very Fulci-licious sub/set.

For last record of Sub4 i bet on "Barbarians"

I'm hoping for barbarians but I think Spencer mentioned the last two releases of 2014 were killer santa related.

what have we had so far.

2 x italo/fulci

2 x contempory

1 x vintage

I'm guessing we may have had our fill of fulci and contempory related releases for this sub, so maybe no beyond or big bad wolves.

Then again I'm normally way off when predicting this type of thing.

Decision to put "toys" in the DW shop is a great idea, like it or not, but it means that much Artists can express and live by theirs creations :)
Never forget all the workers behind the products ;)
