I've seen Spencer and co mention Pye a few times, but i still haven't checked them out. I did become a huge Night Terrors fan because of his mentions, so i imagine this will be the same, (and i'm afraid to get into Liles, so much music to catch up on!) what would you guys suggest starting with as far as Pye goes?

Sleep games is an excellent lp. As are most things on the ghost box label. The black mill tapes are also essential listening.

I'd second Charlie on Sleep Games. It is his most accesable album (and that's not a bad thing). I'd go in this order for introductory purposes:

Have recently bought Pye Corner Audio's Black Mills Tapes 3 & 4 and the split Intercepts record, both of which I'm finding quite accessible as a newbie..

Beyond that, vinyl versions seem tricky to find of the older stuff, unless you want to pay £40+ on Discogs...?

Am also very pleased Spencer mentioned use of the Zombi quad poster for the eventual re-issue.

As an old school Hammer fan, I went mad when I first heard about a partnership with Hammer Films to release some classic stuff; we had Twins of Evil and was announced The Devil Rides Out (that should have been DW009 on Subs.2). Here's the cover preview and the news:

Best idea I've read in ages on this forum. I for one is getting fed up with variants and pic discs that does not deliver great audio. So a deluxe sub with proper black no fuss vinyl would be a great thing for me. Like Wesley Snipes said in Passenger 57: "Always bet on black!"
