Beautiful all round package, great sound. Cool that I picked it up today - I'm working with a bunch of kids who've programmed a 10th Anniversary screening of this at an arts cinema where I work, and we're doing it with "live zombie interaction"! Should be a blast :O

@static, unfortunately I don't have a copy of the original. I would probably be on the fence otherwise. I don't have anything to compare it to but I have no complaints with it at all. Side 4 was a bit noisier than the other 3, nothing terrible but noticeable.

I have the original, and have always rated it/Safan. This score has a similar feel/sounds to Charles Bernstein's stuff for Wes Craven around the same time (Elm Street / Deadly Friend) and that distinctive "ttthhhhhhhhhhhDUNK!" sound that you'll remember from The Abyss

You could suck a few YT samples and see, but actually my advice is watch the movie - it's pretty neat! Kinda like a melodramatic Andromeda Strain vibe, mixed with those early 80s TV movies by Wes Craven that I really liked as a teen (Chiller, Invitation to Hell) those not as goofy as either of those!
