What strikes me with stuff like this is that he must have no family becuse if he did they would know that is a lifetimes collection and worth a pretty penny. It kind of makes me a bit sad actually to see stuff like that tossed into the street for a dollar ....

@deathwaltz no one knows who he was. this was in New Orleans, LA, so it's not a big city by any means, and I would never have expected that someone here would have a collection like this, much less for it to all come up for sale. (I didn't see Waxwork Kevin there, but maybe he knows). There were thousands of cds and dvds and about 500 records still there when i left, and i heard they all got sold off to a wholesaler for about $3,000. If anyone is concerned, all of the stuff I posted went to serious collectors (3 other guys i do local horror/dark dj nights with). I'm sure some other people there are going to be flipping stuff, but these will all probably stay put

I cant remember the reason but I was not at a computer when it was closing so my initial high bid was it. We may have had a small war if I had been close to my computer.

received my DEXTER and WALKING DEAD from hot topic today (well, i had to pick it up at the store). both look great, although for some reason i was thinking the WALKING DEAD was a score, but seems to be songs, but maybe i am mistaken. still need to listen:

I've only seen the Walking Dead advetised as songs from the show, which is why I never bought. TWD really doesn't have much of a score that I can think of aside from the intro, which I like.

Dexter looks nice. Look forward to picking mine up hopefully before Thanksgiving.
