Next up a disquieting giallo jazz odyssey from Morricone & Nicolai... trumpets parp, the kick drum sounds like a heartbeat, the piano sounds like it's falling down the stairs... just the sort of stuff to get you pumped up for the weekend!

Lovely little gem here.



Maybe one track is a bit too cheesy for my taste, but the rest is killer. That Barber track! Pure Wagner!! And the whole insane circus clown theme blended with a lot of dramatic love. Ace!

i Love John Morris. I was just saying the other day (maybe on this thread too..) how underrated his comedy scores are, at least in these days of reissues and stuff. This is a really great record.
