I want to initiate this thread for anyone who has pressings in their collections, which are unknown, or which they are lacking any information.
My reason for opening this thread: an ebay-seller I win regularly from has sent me as a thank you a promotional vinyl copy of the Bruno Nicolai score for Una Vergine Tra I Morti Viventi. It was an extremely nice surprise, but it's been driving me crazy, as I have been trying to find info on the release, to no avail.
The outer sleeve is a lower quality blow up of the booklet-cover from the Digitmovie CD-edition (the only release of the score I could find on Discogs). The back cover has no track-info, only credits for the CD mastering.
The record itself only has the title and 'Promotional Copy' on the label, and there are no etchings whatsoever in the vinyl.
I have not had time yet to listen to the record, but assume it will be from the same master as the official CD-release.
The seller could only tell me that he bought it from a collector, but nothing else. Does anyone know if there were plans to release this on vinyl, or if there was a subsequent, non-official pressing of this on vinyl?
If anyone here can help, I am thankful for any information on this, and if anyone else has a hard-to-identify pressing, please feel free to use this thread to ask other members for any help.
