Okay, I'm all caught up after reading back since the beginning of December to make sure I got this whole email debacle thing correct. I'm down with the sub ending. Sure, it's an inconvenience and I'll have to go to my local shop, but hey- what's wrong with that? Or I can order online when it drops. Spencer steered DW well before and I don't think he's going to run his ship into the ground now. Have a little faith. And if you still aren't happy after the first few drops, well... On another note entirely, am really looking forward to the promise of all those giallo soundtracks Spencer mentioned he had acquired the rights to a little while back... particularly after the fine job made of Lizard in a Woman's Skin this year.

How will the merger affect distribution of DW by Light in the Attic? I live in TX & do not order from Mondo due to their high postage rates (as someone stated in a previous message).

That's actually a good question that I hope Spencer can address. I love ordering from LITA, they have good mailers and their shipping prices aren't too high. I'm guessing a lot of these questions will be answered after the new store launches though.

LITA will sell the standard retail editions .

So that answers two questions then. There will be deluxe editions of releases going forward. I hope there are more of the deluxe versions made, so we're not all fighting for them Mondo style when they drop. Honestly, I think I'd choose having a more deluxe package with liner notes over having a colored variant vinyl.

Xmas evil, Silent Night and Prince Of Darkness reissue arrived today, but no test pressing bonus.
A little bit disappointed, 19 records purchased from DW in last 5 months, I expected a surprise...
