Xmas package arrived! THANK YOU SPENCER. Very happy to have received a test pressing!

Another great year for DW. I still remember my excitement when I read about the label and jumped on board for the first sub. I loved the fact that you carried through the numbering and my first batch of records are all #25 (prints too). I've enjoyed watching the label grow and the praise that you have received from all fronts is so very well deserved.

Here's to horrific 2015!

All the best,
Josh

Whee - test pressing! Nothing to indicate what the contents are, though spinning it now it's almost certainly a giallo. I'll have to do some research to try and figure out what the fuck I've managed to get my grubby mitts on.

Can't wait to listen to the 2015 mixtape. DW really knocked the Christmas package out of the fucking park.

No Test Pressing for me in the 3 orders I placed this month. I thought maybe everyone who ordered Silent Night Deadly Night and Christmas Evil were getting them. *Shrugs*

DW can't give test pressings to all. A record label usually receives from 5 to 10 test pressings max, not 500 of them.

Nice. I assumed it was this Wet Leather record holding up my order for the Christmas albums. Happy new year!

Just got my xmas records in from LitA today, and was delighted to find a copy of the mix CD in there with them. Was under the impression it was for DW webstore customers only.

Just got back from Christmas in Key West and there were not 1 but 2 DW packages waiting at the office! The packaging on SNDN and The Raid are absolutely amazing, great work as usual. No test pressing here, but alas, I played the raffle 100 times in grade school and never once won so much as 50 cents of McDonalds gift cash! Merry Christmas to everyone, albeit late -- 2015 is going to see so great shit!

My coworkers all chipped in to purchase this reel to reel player for me as a birthday gift. I trolled around on eBay and found a sealed reel of blank tape and received it in the mail Saturday. I spent Saturday night compiling a list of my favorite Death Waltz tracks...I mean, what better music to experiment with, right? I hooked my turntable into the reel to reel player and spent a few hours making my own Death Waltz Mix Tape! Spencer, I think this could be an untapped market! HA!

@Spencer It's almost mint. They bought off of Craigslist here in Seattle for $100. They guy that sold it is a shut-in and he refurbishes reel to reels as a hobby. It sounds really amazing. I can't wait to create a Twin Peaks reel from the upcoming releases. Seriously, how more Twin Peaks can you get?

I used to play around with my grandads reel to reel when I was young.

If you cut and sticky tape a short loop of tape so that it goes round and round, then stick a bit of card over the eraser head you have a crazy vintage sampler looper thing. Kind of like some radiophonic workshop gadgetry. Check it youtube

As my newly arrived DW package just proved, Fabio Frizzi's Live at the Union Chapel is very real and very awesome indeed. You guys are in for a real treat. Serious props to Spencer and the DW team for test pressing magic. I've been a subscriber for years and this was the best parting gift I could have imagined. Looking forward to much new and improved action in 2015!

Does the "Live at Union Chapel" vinyl have all of the tracks that the CD has?

CD set with track list HERE

The one I got is only a single LP, so there's about half the material from the double-CD version (I'd need another good listen or two to figure out which tracks the vinyl has). But who knows if what I got is the complete thing. Maybe there's a second LP to be included in the final package.

Interesting & sounds like many of the regulars have been lucky with random test pressings. Picked up the double Frizzi CD at the October London gig and it's a great souvenir and fantastic listen... that said could probably live without the 'Silver Saddle' acoustic interludes if something had to be chopped for vinyl release, leaving in the giallo & horror scores

That is pretty exciting @goodnightcigarettes, I just ordered the double CD set from Dusty Groove and it's actually sitting at home in my mailbox right now. I can't wait to hear the entire thing, even Sil(ly)ver Saddle.

Also @DW, whatever happened to the DW001 test pressing giveaway on Instagram? Have any of those popped up in the wild? I would love one, but I unfortunately could not fund an order for the Christmas albums.
