Wasn't aware that Mondo shipping to UK/Europe had been upped for more than one LP - last time I bought it was two for $25 which made it it less of a pain (when you were quick enough to get the release you wanted, or were able to check out, that is!)
If this was still the case, coupled with what Spencer had indicated previously about being able to 'hold over' an individual purchase to combine it with another at a later date, the new regime still wouldn't be too bad... though paying roughly a tenner extra for each DW deluxe via the States is gonna hurt.
One simple suggestion. While it's great that a standard version of DW and Mondo releases will be available at UK & Europe retail via this new distributor (presumably cheaper than buying direct from Mondo), why not make the deluxe versions available via the same channel too?
UK retail has had both the black standard edition of the new Carpenter LP and the fancy B&W split, plus there was the Baron Blood splatter offered at a higher price alongside the regular black, so it's not unprecedented.
By all means keep a fancy colour exclusive on the Mondo site for collectors. Maybe I've read the situation wrongly and this is based on conjecture, but the above seems more sensible than making records we were once able to get harder to get hold of.
All this is being said only because, like others, I'm looking forward to whatever is in the pipeline.
