Layne, I am on the fence about this one. Is the score that good? I haven't seen the movie. At almost $40 from the film site this is cheaper than discogs but definitely not cheap.

@texas - i watched the movie on new year's eve and was blown away by the movie and the score. my wife started the movie, and i didn't even know what it was until it ended and it returned us to the netflix screen, and the whole time, i was thinking how great the score sounded. i have not listened to it since it arrived yesterday, out of context with the film, but i am sure i will still dig it. the movie is worth checking out. it is strange, but quite good. the soundtrack is on spotify as well if you want to just check it out to see if it is your thing.

Richard Band's Mutant is very good. That is an original Forbidden World, same track listing as Death Waltz release. I passed on the DW release because I had that original. I prefer the original cover over DW's also.

@Tim, I've noticed the soundtrack of Forbidden World a couple of times on the board here, so when I found it today I tried my luck. Pretty spacy synths on this one but liking it! Also, the cover was 50% the reason why I bought it As for Mutant, gonna spin that tomorrow!

Film is amazing .

Score is great , good mix of French versions of classics like Bang , Bang as well as the Dina Washington & Max Richter verions of This Bitter Earth all wrapped up in a pretty lovely (although slightly flimsy) sleeve.
