It's a Cam library/soundtrack lp. Cam made a handful of full ost releases, the 'PRE' series.

This one PRE 9 is by giussepe de luca aka peppino de luca. Features the soundtrack to 'il dio chiamato dorian' and 'mille peccati nessuna virtu.

It's not the first press from 59, this is from 62. I think it may be the first or second stereo press. There are 61 versions of the album on discogs. Brilliant record though, ome of my favourite jazz lp's. I think it was the first lp where coltrane got to play most of his own material.

The dorian gray songs take up all of side b and two tracks on side a. Leaving four tracks taken from the score 'mille peccati nessuna virtu' aka 'wages of sin' there is a clip on youtube from the film. The killer tune heard in this clip is unfortunately not on the lp

.

However, the track October fest is great. Should be a clip somewhere of this song as it was comped by barry 7 on connectors vol 2. Along with several others from dorian grey.
The three other tracks from wages of sin are nothing terribly exciting, classical/easy listening territory, but done with class.
the mastering and pressing of these lp's is amazing.

Always loved this movie as a kid, one of the video nasties we did manage to get our hands on! It really is a classic up there with New York Ripper. Very exciting to hear that DW were releasing it, had no idea what it was gonna sound like, as sound clips were scarce. What I did know it was gonna be...FUNKY!
