So I imported the Goblin Horror Box because I'm impatient and it wasn't very expensive anyway and while it's quite nice I can't help noticing as I listen now that they screwed up the Profondo Rosso 10" as the tracklisting doesn't match the sequence on the record at all...is this just me? Max? Anyone?

Would you call this an essential release? I figured the horror box was maybe like the Tour EP-- kind of unnecessary and doesn't really add anything.

@lazyben: all the copies have the same tracklisting error...

@texas: yeah, you're right but we can't resist... anyway, apart the red 10" (which is absolutely useless...) The other 2 records are really interesting, there are some unreleased tracks. I'm curious to hear the new Goblin's album "Four Of A Kind" that should be out soon!

@texasvinyl: I didn't have opera and demoni on wax so that made the decision pretty easy for me. The 10" is, as max notes, about as non-essential as the tour Ep as it's just re-recordings...and in the wrong order! There are daemonia live recordings and demos and horror project versions of tracks on both demoni and opera...I think one of the opera demos is the best thing in the whole box. So if you already have the albums it's a question of whether these extras and the posters are worth it to you.

@TAG Apparently it's an exclusive for Zavvi's ZBOX from last month. I had no idea I was getting it until the box arrived today, hence the remark about the unexpected purchase. A much better surprise than the zombie socks (don't ask!)
