@zuko - Been a while since I listened to my copy but I think this is only about 12 minutes of music, so that seems reasonable.

And they ship free (1x12" anyway) in the UK. So that's £4 all in.

New Morricone…

In 1968 the Maestro Morricone was at the height of his career scoring Sergio Leone’s classic “Once Upon a Time in the West”.

For the soundtrack of Roberto Faenza’s cult debut movie ESCALATION, set in swinging London, 1968, Morricone teams up with fellow composer Bruno Nicolai and the vocalizations of Alessandro Alessandroni’s “Cantori Moderni”, making this one of his least minimal soundtracks.

Containing the legendary tune DIES IRAE PSICHEDELICO, this is one of the most essential Morricone soundtracks of all-time.

@TAG man, that's worth picking up just for DIES IRAE PSICHEDELICO, as sampled by Necro if I remember rightly.

TAG who is releasing that Escalation record? Is it one from AMS? I think Get On Down did a reissue a few years ago. I wonder if this will get distro in the US.

No, other than TAG's post I actually didn't find this listed anywhere. Not sure what's up with the AMS/Dagored reissues. I asked LITA about the upcoming Gizzi/Warhol release, and Morgan wasn't aware of it/didn't know if they would be getting it in. I am assuming the same might be true for Escalation?

I ended up ordering the Gizzi from the UK, but this was quite expensive, and I would certainly be interested in a US distro for Escalation.

@max - Awwww thanks brother.

Currently I can only talk about the distro guys I deal with but I'm sure LITA will be stocking everything I have on my pre order page.

The amazing Cometa Edizioni is looking to release some stuff from their library starting with an Alessandro Alessandroni title (is it just me or is Alessandroa primed for a good year of re-issues?). Here is the link for those interested in supporting.

This is still stuck at 35%? Heck, I wonder why a label doesn't just bankroll the thing and handle the distro. 500 copies of each, and given the albums, these would certainly sell.

Its just a new reissue through Dagored, they're doing a lot of his back catalogue plus shiny yellow disc ooooooooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhh.

As for the Dagored stuff that's been out recently they're on fire with the quality.

Barron Blood, Big Gundown, Red Queen etc, these are all superb.
