^^^ Was lucky enough to see Strummer do a handful of these tracks live with his Latino Rockabilly War backing band on the Rock Against the Rich tour at Camden's Electric Ballroom - think it was one of the first times he'd played live after the demise of the Clash... still have the bootleg cassette and set list... (check out Strummer's boot and sweat marks on the paper for punk rock authenticity )

I've decided to not buy used records this year, because too many new records are coming out that I have to buy before I dive into buying used as well. So probably not gonna have that in my collection soon (unless I cave in) but I'd very much like to grow my les baxter collection. looks like it's in super good condition too !

There's one on the Discogs for $24.99 with "make an offer" available.

My local shop had this in new arrivals bin for $20 and knocked 10% off because I usually spend too much there. It plays really nice, but the spine is totally gone.

It's a pretty chill soundtrack, a pleasant listen.

coincidence, i had the Bora Bora in the mail yesterday. Mint copy for 10€ and this price is not unusual. I have a pretty solid Baxter collection but this one was still missing. now crossed off the list

Had my first order from Spencer's Transmission yesterday, and what with all the love being show for Riz Ortolani's Cannibal Holocaust score, giving this earlier work of his a spin - a score for one of the 'mondo movies' that in turn inspired the structure of Cannibal Holocaust according to the liner notes in the latter...



It's a bit like a mixtape... orchestral tracks, 60's style jazz and - well you'll get the idea from the trailer below...
