Sorry to hear all the bad experiences. My Oldies order - Maniac Cop, Delta Force and Terror Vision were all fine. LazyBen, I would definitely try and get your money back since the records you received were essentially unplayable.

My first order from Oldies was OK. Maniac Cop had a little warp on side 1 but played fine and side 2 was flat. (I never understand how one side can have a warp and the other not but I have a few like that). Terror Vision had a bit more severe warp but again, played fine. Side 2 was less severe and is the side I really care about, the score. My second order with Oldies, From Beyond and Delta Force, arrived this week but I have not had time to spin them yet. They looked OK but one never knows. Fingers crossed they play.

Already posted this somewhere but all the vinyl i ordered from Oldies were warped with the exception of one. Sent the defected ones back immediately the next day for a refund. This was last week. Called to asked about the status and was met my rude customer service of which I let them know. I for one am never ordering from there again. Don't understand why people have to be rude, especially when I gave no indication of being upset nor impatient. I was as nice as they come. that is, until you're snooty. Then, my wrath will be felt/heard. Wish I had a better experience, oh well. Just saying....
Only bum note was, respectfully, they definitely need an English speaker to proof read the liner notes. :)
Yeah, I need an English translation of those "English" notes... I gave up after the first half page :/

I work professionally as a Danish translator and proofreader, and I have never been able to understand why companies - large and small - will spend insane chunks of money on a product and then not spend a few hundred bucks to have a translator or proofreader look the accompanying texts over. And this is not just a problem with record labels, trust me...

I received my OLDIES order today. Big Trouble, Delta Force and Thin Blue Line. None of them were warped, all have a small cut-out on the cover.

Such a poor cover on that release

The silva screen one kicks it's ass

Here's my two (including the Greek translated cover)

^Nice, that Silva Screen covert art is great. Still happy to have the US pressing instead of nothing at all!

The brass&electronics one is by Colin Towns. It's worth picking up (esp. as it goes for next to nothing) but it's nowhere near "Full Circle".

Was on vacation in South Carolina this weekend with family and was able to hit up the local shop in the area. I snagged the Christine soundtrack for $10, beat up sleeve but the record is minty. It's the soundtrack album and not the score, so it's only the one Carpenter track, but it's still worth it since that's the main "theme" from the movie. Definitely wasn't expecting to come across that one. Out of the whole bin of 300+ soundtrack records, it was the only thing horror/sci fi related that wasn't something you see in almost every store.

My copy of Corpse Bride came in a few days ago also. Got lucky and checked Discogs at the right time, and snagged it for $40. Happy to add this to my collection. Danny Elfman is an amazing composer and I wish the rest of his music was on vinyl. Would go in for Big Fish and an official Nightmare Before Christmas. I noticed he did 50 Shades of Grey, seemed a little unusual to me. Haven't watched the movie or listened to the music, yet.

Hell yeah for Elfman wax, I'm a big oingo boingo fan too, so I always snag those when I see 'em

Meanwhile, went ahead and ordered this guy, gonna give it a spin later but hands down one of my favorite Howard shore scores, happy for the repress since the orig seems like it barely existed.
