Got my Ghost In the Shell yesterday.

Sound quality is fine. The jacket and insert are a bit grainy, probably a direct scan of the original.
Not bad for $20

I'll just be holding on to my original RCA CD for awhile I suppose.

AMS is reissuing Morricone's "Il Mio Nome è Nessuno" for Record Store Day on orange vinyl.

"This particular edition on AMS Records shows also a completely renovated artwork and a 60×30cm poster with reproductions of flyers and lobby cards of the era."

@MonsterWorship - I also ordered the GiTS LP. Glad to hear it's not awful. It will hopefully tide me over until the rumored Tiger Lab beauty arrives. My old RCA CD is still hanging out as well.

This seems another odd one to release, this LP is still really easy to get, and probably cheaper than AMS prices. Plus, the new art is not a patch on the gorgeous original. This LP was released in many countries, some are really tasty gatefolds.

Is there a Library Music New Releases specific thread on here anywhere? I'm a massive library music fan so to be able to see any releases in one place would be handy.

There isnt that I know Vapormeyer, so with the thinking that they were made for soundtrack/ media use I crowbar them in here! I looked at other EU stores for the stringtronics lp and they are all out already, so NOV is the last stop.

That's fair enough. I ordered mine as soon as I heard. Hope NOV tracks sales in realtime and does not oversell what they have in stock. I didn't realise the demand for this title.

Always in demand this one. There's been 2 reissues since the 70s versions and you'll still pay £40 - £60 for a VG+ copy. It is a cracker though

@layneharvey - I heard back from Lex Records today on the skipping I Speak Machine LP. They said that they hadn't heard of any other complaints, but they'd send me a replacement on Monday. Hopefully the replacement won't skip as well!
