the latest Alessandroni record on DW made me revisit some of his stuff. here are my summer recommendations:

Primavera on St Germain Des Prés (St GDP 110)

this one collects the smoothest tunes from three sought after Sermi records (E Il Suo Complesso, Shopping In Carnaby Street and Butterfly). can be picked up for a two digit sum still (i believe) :)

Braen's Machine ‎– Temi Ritmici E Dinamici on Liuto (LRS 0055)
it does not mention Alessandroni but i bet he had his hand in it. thick and crispy Liuto pressing, killer record from beginning to the end and i bet this will be reissued sooner or later

here's my favourite Alessandroni LP. might be even one of my favourie LPs ever...

Alessandro Alessandroni - Open Air Parada on Sermi (SR ST 136)
the drumming on Spiagge Azzurre is just insane, also the lenght of the tune is quite uncommon for a library record. the whole LP is just a beast!

@milliondollars I'm a big fan! I have a few nelson's this one, the green one 1004 and 1005. It's a great series there are a few more I'm after. Some of the tracks are bit "holiday in majorca hammond cheese" though :)

There is a pretty comprehensive 4cd set of I marc 4's which I think covers nearly all of their nelson output. Great for reference

Wow! very nice this alessandroni stuff is growing on me more and more. I have the penny reissue of I cantori moderni, which sound quality wise is brilliant, one of the best sounding library reissues I've heard.
