I am not a gamer and the last game I have played was "Tomb Raider" on PS1 :-)
I was really impressed by the mood ant the music. Some company should bring Tomb Raider on wax, maybe a box set like "The Last of Us".

I'm really looking forward to snatchers and lagrange point from ship to shore, two very rare and cool games.

mother 2 was brilliant, is this the first official SNES music on vinyl?
Really hope there will be more SNES chip music coming out.

Disasterpeace's score for hyper light drifter is getting a 4 lp release via Iam8bit, according to destructoid's twitter feed. Expected to drop in the winter. :D

@little Walter

You can check the album from its bandcamp page.
It may not be everyone's cup of tea, especially for $75.

It has a lot of ambient elements to it with some very beautiful and subtle sounds.
I would say it still very much sounds like a spiritual successor to fez and it follows though. Generally much more chilled than it follows, it's not a horror movie OST.

Although my wallet disagrees I have a feeling I will be picking this up.

It's the complete soundtrack for the never finished Commodore 64 video game "Loch Ness."
Name your price at https://legowelt.bandcamp.com/album/loc ... track-2013
Hey, m-bryce, thanks loads for this heads up. This is really cool stuff. I'm not much of a gamer or game soundtracker myself, but Loch Ness is sounding damn fine. And I really liked the OutRun score as well. Oh, God, what if I like video games now? Shiiiiiitt.

I know, that's what I'm afraid of. I bought the digital of that huge video game mix mentioned earlier in this thread and I'm loving it.

I used to have a copy of Outrun on my PC back in my teenage years (never owned a Sega console), and I sunk many an hour into that game. I have been successful on holding off on most of these video game soundtracks, but that one might be tough.

Although significantly more expensive, HLD looks to be still available as a vinyl pre-order:

It definitely is, Red. I thought that had been posted in here earlier, but it looks like it was in the general OST New Release thread.

Nice, I would jump on this if I hadn't I already pre ordered the vinyl.

It's a really good album, the track 'sentients' has been getting plenty of digital spins recently.

@deaf, ahh the nostalgia! I had many a similar pirated game on those old floppies.
An atari ST was my weapon of choice though.

Does the disc still run?
